“Outstanding situation in period cottage”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2018

This cottage situated on the beach is idyllic. Peaceful and quiet, the sunrises and sunsets are stunning. Perfect for a family holiday and only a short drive to Eastbourne. The Castle pub in Pevensey is worth a visit for the food and friendliness. Very friendly neighbour who told us the history of the cottages [built circa1924].

“Wonderful Beach House.”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2018

We had a wonderful few days at this 1920's style beach house and hope to return again soon. Fully equipped with everything one could need. The big attraction is being able to stroll through the garden right onto the beach and to enjoy a glass of wine sitting in the garden watching the world go by!

“Came back again - still something special ( despite the weather! ).”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2018

Back again for a second visit. Some obvious nice improvements since last time in relation to décor & kitchen. This is a wonderful location, with a lovely secure garden & the sea just outside. Also ample parking. Weather was awful - but we made the best of it. Booking process & decision really quick. In relation to possible improvements - WIFI would be really helpful. Picked up adjacent caravan park - but it was password protected. Fridge was really low down - only a challenge because I am getting old! Loved it - again!

“A charming little house right on the sea giving easy access to the beach for walks”

Reviewed 26 Oct 2017

The property is right on the beach with a seaside feel. The kitchen is updated and the accommodation which is accurately shown on the pictures is good value for money. You are right on the beach in fact the back garden is just fenced in beach. Great for walks and sea watching. There is easy access to Brighton, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings for seaside, piers, and non chain shopping e.g. the Lanes in Brighton or Hastings/ Lewes for antique type shopping.

“Perfect Seaside Holiday Home”

Reviewed 19 May 2017

A delighful, charming little bungalow on the beach and but a stones throw from the sea and sand. The perfect location for a restful and noiseless break surrounded by a lovely wild beach garden.

“Retro seaside retreat!”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2017

This lovely bungalow is directly on the beach, we went on morning walks and enjoyed breakfast on the beach every day, even though it was winter! The bungalow has got a great nautical retro theme which was lovely to relax in. A fab get away from it all place! It is also only a short drive from Eastbourne & Beachy Head. Overall a great break away at a lovely cosy beach house!

“Great relaxing holiday”

Reviewed 15 Dec 2013

Great holiday for all my family and the dog. With 6 beds, there was room for my family of 5 and even for a friend. Plenty to do and lots of lovely walks around the area. We could join the crowds down in Soverign Harbour or enjoy the quiet garden with the view of the sea. We enjoyed BBQs while the sun went down and with a large supermarket really close it made catering very easy.
