This luxurious 5 bedroomed holiday home is perfect for large groups/families wanting a centrally located property. In Pickering there are many bars, cafes, shops and restaurants within seconds of leaving the house. No 2 The Ropery is positioned at the bottom of the main market place, opposite the steam railway - there are very few properties with the view of Pickering that we have. The house has been decorated to an exceptional standard, with many guests already booking for a second visit. There is plenty of space for both adults and children, with a play den in one of the bedrooms.

The property boasts a fabulous large lounge/dining room and kitchen facilities with all mod cons - washer/dishwasher/microwave. There is a HUGE feature bath in the family bathroom - perfect for relaxing after a hard day of sightseeing/shopping.

No 2 The Ropery is a true home from home. Visitors want for nothing as all needs are for catered for. The house itself features a large kitchen/dining room leading into a spacious and comfortable lounge. The ioen plan staircase leads to the first floor where you will find 3 bedrooms and a large family bathroom which has a bath/shower/sink WC. Stairs lead up to the third floor where there are 2 further bedrooms, a WC and a shower room. Games/Childrens activities such as a PS2, TV, DvD's feature throughout the property, helping parents enjoy a relaxing break.

There is parking for one car at the property with ample free parking spaces in the area. There is a private and enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property, perfect for relaxing after a day out.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alison (the owner) a message.

If Alison (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
