Villino Il Gabbiano is a welcoming cottage situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna. It sleeps six people. From Villino Il Gabbiano you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery and of the surrounding countryside. Villino Il Gabbiano is 70 square meters (750 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 2 km (1.2 miles) from the center of Piedimonte Etneo, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the bus stop at 100 meters (330 feet) and the closest beach at 9.5 km (roughly 5.9 miles). You will reach Villino Il Gabbiano from the parking area along a short route that cuts through the garden and includes approximately five stairway steps.

For a successful stay at Villino Il Gabbiano we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate.

Villino Il Gabbiano is part of a small complex surrounded by the greenery and nestled in the beautiful landscape of Mount Etna National Park.

In addition to Villino Il Gabbiano, the complex offers five bed-and-breakfast rooms, and can accommodate at most 20 guests.

Guests at Villino Il Gabbiano can take advantage of additional on-site services (for a fee): Volcano Etna excursions, Taormina guided tours, cooking classes, wine and food-tasting with local products and home made specialties to sample the delights of Sicilian cuisine.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long. It is filled with sea water. The area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

Garden

The garden is 200 square meters (2150 square feet) large. It is equipped with tables, chairs and a sun umbrella. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door.

Kitchen

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator without freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the garden.

Bedroom 1

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the kitchen. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the garden and the swimming pool through a French door. Here you will also find a ceiling fan.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room through an access area. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window. Here you will also find a ceiling fan.

Bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through an access area.

    How do damage deposits work?
