La Maison de Rebeyrat is a spacious comfortable gite nestled in an idyllic setting, surrounded by 4 acres of its own meadows and woodland, offering privacy and tranquillity for that perfect get-away-from-it-all holiday. We offer family, friends get-togethers, group trips that will tear teenagers away from their smart phones, that will open little eyes to big adventures and give parents, friends the kind of holiday you really deserve. It is completely renovated to an exceedingly high standard, the gite has spacious rooms, and plenty of modern amenities to enhance your stay, with everything you would expect to find in your own home.
La Maison de Rebeyrat has three floors. The living room is on the ground floor and has a large open fireplace, ceramic tiled floor, satellite TV English channels and DVD player. French doors opening onto the veranda, where you can take your morning coffee and listen to the birds chirping.
Steps from the living room lead up to a modern, well equipped kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen is the ideal place to make use of your cooking talents with fresh products found in local markets. The kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, and fitted units. The patio door at the rear opens up to steps to the garden where there is a barbecue area.
The downstairs toilet is tiled, with a hand basin and a shower, and is off the passage that leads to the double bedroom. There is an attractive view of the countryside and the pool from the bedroom that create a peaceful atmosphere
At the top of the open stairs there is a large room with twin beds and a single bedroom. Beds are made up upon your arrival, you just have to unpack your suitcases!
These are separated by a passageway that has a room with a toilet and hand basin.
The flooring throughout, except where stated is wooden.
The pool (open 31st May - 30th Sept) is situated to the rear of the buildings in a secluded private sun trap, with a lovely open aspect and views of the local wooded area. The pool has easy access by steps, with loungers and parasols for your comfort, pool-side lights and under-water illumination. The pool is shared with L'arbre Magnolia gite. We have found after running the business for 9 years now that this works extremely well as the children from the two gites make friends and entertain themselves. It is cleaned and maintained on a daily basis, and is fully compliant with French law.
Our child friendly gites are ideal for families, with facilities onsite to amuse children of all ages. There is a ping pong table, pool table toys/games, and books from the library. There is so much land for children to run around freely and everyone to find their own private space to relax and unwind.
The rear enclosed garden, shared by both gites, has a gas barbecue where you can enjoy outdoor dining at the table and chairs provided. You can also watch for wildlife, such as deer, birds, including eagles, hoopoe, black redstart and woodpeckers, from the comfort of the loungers.You can even do a spot of stargazing as on a clear night every star in the milky way is visible. Rebeyrat Gites is a fantastic location for families seeking an active yet relaxing holiday with something on offer for everyone, a good base to visit the many historic and other sites of interest in the area. The whole experience will provide fond memories that will last long after the holiday is over. These gîtes are ideal for groups of families or friends wanting to holiday together as the two independent gîtes can be rented together allowing you to maintain your privacy and still enjoy each other’s company whilst on holiday. This is true rural France, the pace of life is slow and conversation and gastronomy go hand in hand. Take your time purchasing local produce at one of the local markets and then linger over a relaxing meal in the evening.
