You are in serenity to settle your breath and your heart. Ten minutes away is a fork into Sequoia or Kings Canyon (must see) National Park. Both provide the Giant Trees, caves, varieties of hikes and fishing locations. Or simply a walk from the cabin
Your Peaceful Heavenly Retreat cabin sets up on a mountain slope at 4200 ft looking out westward. Sitting comfortably on the deck provides a beautiful arrange of colors in the setting sun. You want peace and quiet: a road less traveled passes the cabin and the distance to the nearby cabin offers you soothing tranquility. For the early riser, get a cup of coffee and enjoy yourself on the deck or take a nice walk on a road less traveled (Hogback Rd.) for a scenic view.
When you arrive late and hungry and tired, there is a Belgium waffle maker on the kitchen counter. In the pantry under the stairway, there is waffle mix [THERE IS OIL BUT NEED EGGS] and syrup. In the refrigerator, there are sticks of butter. Mixing bowls, spatulas, utensils, and plates are provided in the kitchen cupboards.
If you desire a cup of coffee, there is a Keurig on the counter with coffee pods and creamers in the drawer below. Those of you who brought your favorite coffee beans, in the cupboard to the right of the sink, there is a grinder and a French Press. Also, in the cupboard, is a white electric teapot for the hot water.
Also, the cabin provides bed linen and towels. There is a laundry hamper in the upstairs bathroom and the downstairs closet across from the pantry. (Please put used linen and towels in the hampers at the end of your visit) If you are looking for additional trash bags, on the dining table side of the stove counter, there is a low level storage door containing trash bags. Outside under the deck, are two sanitation containers for trash and recycle. Thank you for using them.
Know what poison oak looks like if you plan on hiking through the mountain brush and dress appropriately. In the down stair's bathroom, there is cleansing solutions for before and after encountering poison oak.
We look forward to suggestions that would enhance your experience.
