This delightful cosy character cottage, named after the nearby Cornish Dozmary Pool, is the perfect place to either unwind, or explore it's unspoilt location.

This south facing, single storey detached barn conversion with character beams has it's own private, sheltered patio with BBQ facilities and separate enclosed large grassy garden. The open plan lounge and family dining area includes a well-fitted kitchen area with microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The lounge area has a colour TV and DVD player. Leading on from the hallway with handy coat hooks, the sleeping accommodation comprises two well furnished bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunkbeds. There is a family bathroom with bath & shower.

Coombe Farm is perfect for a family holiday. Originally an ancient Cornish farmstead set in a sheltered valley, Coombe Farm can be found tucked away at the end of a country lane in the peaceful hamlet of Trewen, a few miles west of Launceston.

While retaining the original farm layout, three of the farm buildings have been converted into outstanding holiday cottages with private gardens. There is an outdoor heating swimming pool with spacious sun deck and BBQ facilities. The communal garden and play area are very popular with children who can feed the rabbits, chickens & pigs.

Coombe Farm has onsite parking within its six acres and the farm can offer stabling with riding options locally and further afield. In this rural setting it is easy to forget the proximity to major trunk roads, which makes exploring the region so easy.

We are within quick reach of the beautiful North Cornish beaches both famous for surfing and ideal for families. A short drive takes you to the scenic coastal path, very popular with walkers, providing spectacular views, and the chance to see an abundance of wild life including seals, dolphins and birds.

There are loads of brilliant local day trips including Tintagel and it's Arthurian Castle, the historic market town of Launceston, the smuggler's retreat of Boscastle and the unspoilt moors of Bodmin all on your doorstep. Also with reach are the Eden Project, Lanhyrock House, and Port Isaac.

    If Louise & Jeremy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
