Located just 2 minutes from the motorway exit, the property is the ideal base for art itineraries to Pisa, Lucca, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena.

A car is not necessary!! Shops, restaurants and cafés are within walking distance, as well as a bus stop and a train station with direct trains for Pisa and Florence, and connections for the main cities of Tuscany.

For Vespa lovers : The property is a perfect accommodation for the Vespa World Days 18 to 21 April 2024! Pontedera is just a few minutes driving from the villa and there is free parking inside the property for your Vespa.

The apartment named "The ladies retreat" is on the first floor. It is given admittance through an astonishing monumental staircase and trough a delicious parlor where the frescoes on the walls and the ceiling simulate an open air terrace with country landscapes all around.

This apartment is named after the use it had in the past centuries: this was the part of the house where the ladies relaxed while talking, reading and playing music after their morning toilet. The remarkable and absolutely unique neoclassical frescoes in the delicate nuances of ivory color which are featured in the living room create a seductive atmosphere of great serenity. Besides the living room the apartment features a double bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The villa benefits from a large garden with beautiful age-old trees.

    The apartment is located in an impressive old building that has inside the ambiance of a museum. The apartment itself is large and very, I repeat ,very clean.

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Donatella (the owner) a message.

    If Donatella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
