Tassana Pra is a magnificent hilltop heritage-style Thai house, constructed mainly of solid teak, boasting superb 180 degree views comprising ocean, beaches, distant islands, and Samui’s mountainous interior, with the landmark Golden Buddha Statue in the near distance. Furnishings fittings and facilities are of the highest international standard, providing guests with a perfect blend of old and new, in an exciting one-of-a-kind holiday experience.

The beautiful and spacious landscaped grounds feature a free-form infinity swimming pool facing the bay in a westerly direction for great sunsets, and on the east side a shaded garden lily pond filled with enormous carp and koi is overlooked by a traditional wooden reading 'sala': the ultimate peaceful escape.

Luxurious bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, are housed in stylish individual Thai salas, offering complete privacy, while remaining one with the main building.

The magnificent soaring central pavilion houses the living and dining areas, and has wide doors that fold open, front and back to catch even the slightest tropical breeze. This opens onto a generous, covered ocean-view terrace.

Dining at Tassana Pra is a culinary experience second to none amongst the villas of the island. The freshest seafood is available from the beachfront market visible below the house, and our chef has an unrivaled reputation for both Thai and Western cuisine.

Khun Oy and Khun Wally have been resident managers at Tassana Pra for many years and their pride in the house and its gardens is obvious. Khun Oy prepares delicious Thai and western meals and Wally is something of Barista and makes fabulous coffee. The couple is a mine of local information and treat all their guests like family.
