Our Home

We have a comfortable, modern, new apartment in Néoi Póroi by the beach. Our house is 74m and ground floor making it very cool in summer. It has big and delightful garden with barbecue. There are two bedrooms and a big living room and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you'd expect to make you feel at home including an electric cooker and oven, microwave, coffee-maker, juice maker. There is a laundry room with a washing machine.

We offer a 42 inch TFT flat screen TV for your entertainment. Internet connection is available in closeby cafes. There is air condition for hot days.

Our Neighborhood

The house is on the terrain floor and is part of a gated condominium enclosure with 2 other 2storey apartment buildings. The area is very safe as all places are usually in Greece.

The train station and the hi-way are in close distance 1km.

The neighbors are friendly. Behind the apartments there is a small forest. The beach is 300m distance. There are all kinds of stores and restaurants in the town. There is a church. The beach is very long and all along it there is a delightful pedestrian walk, many outdoor cafes and umbrellas. There are life guards and beach volley nets. You can find watersports and bike and motorbike rentals. Peak season July August.

Peak season is July - August. September and June are wonderful periods not very crowded with great service and cooler weather. In June the water is cooler while in September it is warm.

Except the guaranteed sunshine, good weather and excellent food you can easily enjoy all that Greece has to offer from here.

Larisa and Katerini two major cities are easily accessible by public transport (bus, train) and they are just a half hour drive away. Thessaloniki the second largest city in Greece just 1,5 hour away and also famous extraordinary Meteora are two hours away.

The port of Volos is an hour drive with ferry connection to three beautiful Aegean islands Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonisos (national park for the protection of the Mediterranean seal). Famous mount Olympus known to everybody from Greek mythology is just beside and you can see the sun setting behind it every evening from the beach. The sunset is beautiful as in the background there is also a beautiful Venetian castle. Platamon is a neighboring town exactly next to Poroi very beautiful and cosmopolitan at summer nights ideal for evening walks. Don't forget to visit a village close by called old Panteleimonas by night with spectacular view and nice taverns and cafes where you can also have traditional sweet.

Two mountains of unique natural beauty, Kisavos(Ossa) and Olympus, are in range with more than 20 beautiful mountain villages not far away to visit, if you like.

September: Best period for relaxing, quality holidays - best service/best sea.

Winter: Skiing. There are 3 ski resorts very near and 3 more about 3hours away. Usually ski period is mid-January to mid-March.

Spring-Autumn: Hiking, trekking, canyoning, mountain excursions.

Ancient sites.

Nearby sites are: 30km, Dion sight and museum, Philips' tomb, the father of Alexander and where Alexander set off to his conquest. There is a large ancient theatre in Larissa city close by, 2,500 year old.

How do damage deposits work?
