From the owner

Lily’s cottage features two cozy double bedrooms with very comfortable bedding and fine quality linens. In between the bedrooms is a stylish bathroom with a shower cabin. A sliding door in the hallway separates the sleeping quarters from the living room and kitchen area to ensure quiet and privacy.

Mix and match furniture with ethnic tones and a modern fireplace give the spacious living room a homey feeling. The adjacent open plan kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances and cookware. This north side of the house also offers unobstructed sea views of the Cretan sea and the Platanias plain.

In the Southern part of the house, overlooking the olive grove, are the two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with an option of two singles or a double). Great consideration was given to the choise of mattresses and pillows, as we strongly believe that our primary service is to provide comfortable restful sleep. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom that features a large shower and a washing machine.

However, the great advantage of this amazing villa is really its external area. The 25m2 swimming pool invites the guests to relax on the sun beds and enjoy the warm Cretan sun while "resting" their gaze on the endless blue horizon. The large Mediterranean trees (olives, apricots, figs, pomegranates) offer generously their shade to the barbeque and the outdoor seating areas, making it the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast. The vegetable garden (“perivoli”) from where visitors can harvest their salad vegetables is an extra bonus!

My guests will feel unique as during their stay a huge consideration is given to their comfort. I'm available 24/7 for them and they can easily communicate with me via cell phone or the free applications whats up and viber. But if they prefer their privacy, of course they will have it as I live in the town and the closest house is about 300 meters away with no visibility at the cottage. My guests will also try some Greek traditional homemade dishes such as spanakopita (spinach pie) or mussaka, gemista (stuffed vegetables) etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lili (the owner) a message.

If Lili (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
