Casa Flamingo is a large spacious villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, private heated pool, HOT TUB and fantastic sea views. It sleeps up to 8 people and is in the private residential area of Red Volcano - close to the stunning Timanfaya Palace hotel and the beautiful Flamingo beach.
This villa is on the private residential area of Montana Roja (Red Volcano) in Playa Blanca, which is overlooked by the stunning extinct Red Mountain Volcano, and has magnificent sea views.
The property, has a private heated pool, HOT TUB, sun bathing terrace with built in Canarian style BBQ, a sun filter Hammock, 2 large parasols, 8 comfortable sun-loungers, 8 patio chairs and 2 patio tables.
Inside you have a magnificent kitchen, lounge, and dinning area, leading directly on to the sun terrace, as do 3 of the 4 bedrooms.
Each bedroom is fitted with an individual Air-conditioning unit that also acts as a Dehumidifier, Heater,or Air Purifier/Filter for perfect sleeping conditions irrespective of the weather. They work on a coin meter system and are available to all guests.
The bedrooms are made up of 1 Superking room, 1 king room and two twin rooms. There are three bathrooms, two with showers, one being a large walk in shower and the third bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The property has a large flat screen TV with an excellent choice of channels (including BBC 1 & 2, ITV, Channel 4 & 5 + most of the main SKY channels including the movies & sports), DVD, Video, and CD equipment.
In the fitted kitchen there is a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, ceramic hob, full sized oven, and all cooking utensils required.
Towels and linen are all provided, and changed every full week of your holiday.
HOT TUB: There is an additional per day charge for use of the Hot Tub. Please ask for details.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS are available both SHARED and EXCLUSIVE. We can arrange this at very reasonable rates for our guests, please ask for a price list.
CAR HIRE. We can arrange to have a vehicle of your choice awaiting your arrival at the Arrecife airport in Lanzarote along with the company representative.
WHERE TO EAT. Locally in Playa Blanca there are many good restaurants to choose from. Those along the sea front are great for their ambience, but when asked to recommend one, there are two which remain consistently good and are all family owned and run. Los Hervideros … great for local tapas. Casa Brigitta (in Marina Rubicon) … ask about the fish of the day. We are also really pleased to be able to offer the services of a personal chef. Ask us for more information about his BBQ packs, tapas or paella evenings plus much more. Details are in the villa.
A WELCOME PACK consisting, of tea, Water, Sugar, Orange Juice, Beer, Coffee, Milk, Biscuits, Wine/Cava is included in the above prices.

We are constantly trying to keep the villa’s overall standards as high as possible, and hopefully we will be able to add you to the growing list of returning guests to Casa Flamingo, which means a lot to us as a family. For your information we have just replaced the old Jacuzzi with a brand new one, and have plans to introduce a games room suitable for all the family, in the near future.
The villa was within walking distance to shops and restaurants so location was great. It was very clean and had a fabulous pool, it had everything you need for a great holiday.

“Absolutely fantastic holiday thanks to a fantastic villa”
The Villa was perfectly described online and what stood out was the cleanliness, our 1yr old went for a crawl on arrival and returned from under the double bed spotless. The owner Ginny was extremely accomodating and went above and beyond with our requests to make this a perfect stay. The pool area is great and the pool table is actually very level which is very unusual from my experience Its a nice stroll to the local shops and even the town or €3/4 back by taxi. The local Centre Commercial has some fantastc places to eat with the Indian being the best I have had and the Marina is only a stones throw from there. Looking forward to my next trip to Playa Blacna..:)

Response from the manager Dear Mrs Simpson I've very sorry to read your comments about our villa and whilst we will always take on board constructive criticism, we would like the opportunity to address your review. Our advert does state that the villa is 'Suitable for people with restricted mobility' and that it has wheelchair access, but it does not state that the villa is specifically designed for wheelchair users. We have had many clients in the past that have been wheelchair bound and found the villa perfectly usable. My brother in law is also physically disabled and has stayed in the villa many times. This was also explained to you in our email correspondence and had you said that it was vitally important that the villa had been fully adapted for a wheel chair user, we would have recommended a villa on the next road owned by a friend of ours as he has a completed adapted villa, even down to the kitchen units being lowered and pool hoist. I do take on board your comment about as a wheelchair user "the only access was out of the main bedroom". We had a brand new Granite table delivered and installed only a couple of weeks prior to your arrival. It has been screwed into position a little close to the main patio door out of the lounge area. Whilst it is fine for able bodied persons, it is too close for a wheel chair user and we will be moving this further out as soon as we have a suitable gap in bookings. The comment regarding photo-shopping is simply not true. The front door had swollen due to heavy rains the week before - it has been repaired, but we are looking at replacing the wooden door with a new UPVC or Aluminium door - however stating that you had to "shoulder barge" the door open is a bit of an exaggeration! The additional cost for the WiFi is clearly showed on all advertising for this property - £35 per week. Regarding the cleaning of the villa. As with all clients we do our very best to prepare the villa to the highest standard possible in the time we have. The previous clients left at 10:00am on the morning of your arrival and the villa was cleaned throughout - however, as with any client, if, as you did, feel the villa wasn't cleaned to the correct standard then we will always return and address any areas that you feel need additional attention. We did return and we did ask that you were happy with what had been done and were told “yes” We've had a new TV system (that gives all the BBC, ITV, Sky channels and SKY Sports) put in and it is very easy to use. If you were having problems, we could have popped round to show you how to use it correctly. The Welcome Book simply gives information on the local area, including where to dispose of rubbish, useful telephone numbers and our recommendations for bars, restaurants and beaches. Thank you for acknowledging the outdoor space and location of the villa. Again, we have installed a state of the art alarm system and a fully automatic lighting system on the driveway for added security and I'm glad this helped you feel safe and secure in our villa. Again, thank you for your comments and I hope you accept my reply in the constructive & positive manner it was intended. Regards Jason
