Description

This detached family villa is situated in the central Punta Limones area, near the old harbour, in one of the best areas in Playa Blanca. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and beaches, the excellent location means that no car is required unless you wish to explore other parts of the island. There is however off-road parking for a car and further parking is possible within the gated complex. A SPAR supermarket is located opposite the complex - ideal for all your grocery needs, and fresh bread and croissants are available daily, perfect for breakfast on the terrace ! Casa Palmeras sleeps 6, with accommodation comprising a double bedroom, a twin and a bedroom with bunks (2m long) suitable for both children and adults. A family bathroom and shower room are accessible from all bedrooms. The property is comfortably furnished for 6 guests with a spacious lounge, and a light and airy kitchen diner which is fully equipped. Additional facilities include free wi-fi access and satellite TV including Sky, UK (BBC, ITV) and Irish (RTE) channels. There is also a CD and DVD player with a range of CDs and DVDs for guests to use. For little ones, a cot and highchair are available on request. All bedroom windows are fitted with mosquito nets and shutters to keep the bedrooms cool and ventilated with open and tilt mechanisms. To make the most of Lanzarote's great climate, there is a walled terrace, with a shaded dining area and Canarian barbeque ideal for al fresco dining. The large 10 x 5m pool is heated, and has a maximum depth of 1.6m with steps at each end to enable easy entry and exit, perfect for children and adults to enjoy ! There is also a waterfall and underwater lighting controlled from the terrace as well as a pool cover to keep the heat in when not in use.

Prices are from £800 per week based on 2 guests with an additional £50 per person per week for additional guests. Fixed prices apply at peak times, including school holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year and do not depend on number of guests. Changeover dates are generally flexible subject to availability with a minimum stay of 7 nights but please try to align your dates with existing bookings as we reserve the right to reject bookings which straddle available weeks.

We also provide a welcome pack to get your holiday off to a great start. Linen and towels are changed on a weekly basis and a mid-stay clean is included for guests staying longer than 11 days.

“Fantastic stay, highly recommend”

Recently returned from a weeks stay at the villa, over New Year. The villa was fantastic, in our favourite location and very clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The directions from the airport were good, although we've been to Playa Blanca before so knew where the villa was when getting into town. The check in process worked fine even though we arrived on Boxing Day when the office was closed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of red wine! The villa itself was very comfortable, slept like a log in the comfortable bed. There were plenty of towels (provision of pool towels would be a great addition to the villa) and everything you needed in the kitchen to cook a meal. We had an issue with the WiFi and TV on arrival, but on reporting it to the office was fixed the same day. Excellent service. We loved the outside space and really enjoyed eating outside on the terrace during the day and lying by the pool. The pool was lovely and warm and having it all to ourselves was a real treat. The fact the pool fronts onto the road didn't bother us at all as it was well screened so no one can see you. The location more than makes up for this. There is a Spar supermarket across the road which is very well stocked and a Super Dino supermarket 10 minutes walk away. They have a butcher's and fishmonger in this supermarket which is reasonably priced. The restaurants, beach, shops etc are only 5 - 10 minutes walk away from the villa and it's flat so good if you have mobility issues. Our favourite restaurants this time around were El Gallon which fronts the port car park. Doesn't look much from the outside due to the white plastic seats but the food is lovely, big portions and excellent value. We also loved the Chinese on the seafront. Think it's called Asiatico. We went to both of these restaurants twice! There are plenty of great places to eat. We didn't venture down to Marina Rubicon this time at night but there are also lots of choices there for a meal. Tend to be more expensive though. We would love to return to Casa Palmers again and would highly recommend.

“What a super villa”

Spent 10 wonderful days at this villa with daughter,son-in-law,13 year old and 3 year old grandsons,superb villa and fantastic pool....even though the waterfall was not working at that time,reported this and agents came out straight away.good surroundings ie beaches,shops and various eateries,great supermarket opposite villa.Villa had everything you would need..."home from home",only negative would be the fact that there isnt any air con! The fans really arn't man enough in August!!!!but apart from that we all love love loved it and didn't want to leave,wall to wall sunshine and hot, hot,hot.would return tomorrow if possible.

“Fantastic villa”

I spent 14 days at the villa with my partner and two children who are 5 and 2. The villa could not have been any better for us as the pool is gated off from the pool so when the children just want to play outside or when you have a BBQ you have peace of mind that the pool is not a problem. The villa was clean and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. It has SKY TV which is handy when you have small children as you can put on cartoons or when you have to be at the villa in the evening it has the movie channels and sports. The pool itself is huge and the large steps in to the pool are fab as many pools have the ladder steps not easy when you have small kids, no such problem here. Everything outside was well maintained and clean. The location of the villa is great. The Spar shop is less than a two minute walk was is a God send when you have children and need to get the essentials on a daily basis. The old marina area with it's shops and restaurants is a short 5 minute walk away so no need to get a hire car if you don't want one. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone and I am certainly planning on booking it again. Claire and Barry, the owners, respond quickly to any query and are most helpful.
