Villa Saskia is situated within a tranquil group of villas near to the Marina Rubicón complex with its exceptional selection of upmarket waterfront restaurants, cafés, bars, shopping mall, designer shops, bowling alley and a wide range of water sports and leisure activities.

The nearest well stocked local supermarkets are only a two minute walk away and a little further takes you to Playa Blanca's coastal promenade. The beaches at Playa Dorada, Playa Flamingo and Papagayo, the Marina Rubicón and the old harbour area of Playa Blanca are all accessible from the coastal promenade. The El Pueblo shopping centre with its supermarket, bars/cafés, gift shops and children's play area; only a few minutes walk away.

The villa has a south facing frontage, with a fully enclosed terrace overlooking its own private heated pool (electric & solar) and benefits from being in the sun all day. Security and privacy are provided for with lava walls, teak and steel railings and gates. The terrace is partially covered, well stocked with plants and furnished with teak furniture and luxury cushions and offers shelter from the midday sun and the very occasional rain showers. The villa therefore offers ample space for enjoying the Lanzarote sun, alfresco dining or relaxing in the shade.

The property is on one level, open plan with a vaulted ceiling in the main living areas. The lounge area is tastefully furnished with leather sofas, flat screen television with internet UK television.

The main amenities of Playa Blanca are all within walking distance of the villa. For those with reduced mobility or wishing to venture much further afield, there is a bus stop near the villa with a regular service along Playa Blanca's seafront and to the central bus station, where you can board buses leaving for the north of the island. There is also a taxi rank at the nearby local supermarket.

We provide a small welcome pack containing basic items - 5 litres of water, 1 litre milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits for your arrival. All bed linen is provided for and the following towels will be available on your arrival and replaced along with bed linen after one week (5 days if on a 10 day holiday) - (2) bath sheets and 1 beach towel per person. The villa will be managed during your stay by Lanzarote Villa Management our English speaking representatives and they will deal with any issues that may arise during your stay.

The villa has an open plan lounge / dining room and kitchen with vaulted ceiling, tastefully furnished with leather sofas, coffee table, large TV unit complete with internet UK television services and a 43" Samsung UHD TV. The dining area has a six place glass topped rattan dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and is equipped with modern appliances and stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining. The lounge area has French doors opening on to the main sun terrace that overlooks the pool and a second set of French doors to the inner courtyard. The master bedroom also has French doors leading onto the sun terrace and pool area. All inner windows and doors in the lounge, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom are fitted with micro-venetian, roller or roman blinds. All bathroom and light fittings throughout the villa are of high quality, including the glass shower screens in the ensuite and main bathroom. The master bedroom and rear bedroom both have super king size bed and each bedroom has a roof fan for use in extremely hot weather. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with coat hangers. The villa has a large covered pergola, sun terrace overlooking the private pool and is furnished with quality teak dining furniture (5 chairs and table) and four teak sun beds, and a double day bed all with luxury cushions. The terrace and pool area is stocked with plants and can be illuminated at night. The inner courtyard is furnished with a Moroccan breakfast table and four chairs for more secluded dining and is also equipped with a large charcoal barbecue, 'to allow the man of the house to practice his culinary skills'. There is a Solana (utility area) off the kitchen with washing machine and small internal garden with clothes line for drying clothes.

We have been to Villa Saskia many times it has everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. The bed is very comfortable, lots of sun loungers and a nice warm pool.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
