This modernised bungalow is ideal for couples, on a well maintained complex with mature palm trees and flowering shrubs.

There is a twin bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room, and both rooms have a ceiling fan which you will appreciate in the summer.

The kitchen is a good size with everything you could need for your holiday, and there is a Satelite TV in the comfortable living room with UK channels. Free Wifi is included.

You can relax with a glass of wine in the sun on the private terrace while enjoying the spectacular mountain views. The garden is enclosed and there is a table, chairs, two sunbeds and two reclining chairs, all with cushions. The complex is just a short walk form the shops, bus stop and taxi rank, and the wonderful paved promenade that stretches for miles along the whole seafront of Playa Blanca, from the Marina to the Lighthouse. The lovely beach of Playa Flamingo is just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the bungalow. The beach is sheltered and bathing is very safe.

This laid back and charming resort offers a fantastic choice of restaurants, from traditional Spanish to Italian, Indian, Chinese, Thai, and many others. Stroll in the sunshine, have a coffee watching the world go by, and enjoy the perfect place to recharge your batteries!

The living room in the bungalow is comfortable, with a sofa bed (suitable for a child) and armchair, coffee table and extensive bookshelves full of holiday reading. The kitchen is fully fitted with plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery for your stay, plus saucepans etc. There is a 2 ring hob and a separate electric oven, plus a microwave.

The bedroom has twin beds, with all bedlinen and duvets provided. There are bedside cabinets and reading lamps, a large chest of drawers, and a built in wardrobe with hanging space, plenty of hangers and a safe for your valuables.

There is plenty of storage at the far end of the kitchen for the patio cushions, plus blankets should you need them. There is a large airer, and in the cupboard is a small portable barbecue for use in the garden.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, vanity unit with washbasin, bidet and WC.

The windows at the back of the property are fitted with mosquito netting in the vents.

Outside the private garden has shrubs and flowers, and the terrace is secluded with a table, sun umbrella, chairs, reclining chairs and sunbeds. The swimming pool in the complex is well maintained and a good size, surrounded by a large terrace are with sunbeds.

A car is not essential, although there are car hire firms close by so you can explore the island. You can also hire bicycles and enjoy cycling along the paved promenade. Arrecife airport is approximately 40 minutes drive, and there are excellent transfer services from the airport.

From the harbour in Playa Blanca you can take a boat trip to the Papagayo beaches, or use the ferry and visit the neighbouring island of Fuertaventura for the day.

The nearest shops, bars and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away. Playa Blanca town centre is approximately a 10 minute walk.

Playa Blanca was once a small fishing village near the most southerly tip of Lanzarote. Due to the island's strict planning laws there are no high rise developments, and although it continues to grow it has retained its more relaxed atmosphere. Playa Blanca now stretches from just west of the famous Papagayo beaches at Los Coloradas as far as Faro Park and the Faro De Pechiquera lighthouse 7k to the west, with a seafront promenade along the entire coastline. There is no shortage of places to eat, and the seafront at the centre of town is literally lined with restaurants catering for just about every taste and nationality imaginable.
