From the owner

Casita Roja is tucked away at the top of a gated community with lovely views of the Pacific ocean, the beach is a short walk and the towns of Tamarindo and Flamingo are only 25 min. away. Roomy, 2 double beds, kitchenette, private deck, hot water, A/C in bedroom and WIFI.

This space is completely self contained, about 15 feet away from the main house. With an abundance of natural light, this unique oasis is cozy and inviting with high ceilings. Larger than most hotel rooms, this 2 room space allows for a comfortable extended stay.

Within the suite is a kitchette with coffee maker, toaster, small fridge, sink, microwave, 2 burner hot plate and electric grill. There is A/C is the bedroom with 2 double beds. In the living room there is a sofa/futon which can be turned into a bed for two more people. The bathroom includes a full sized shower with hot water.

Relax outside on the private patio with an ocean and garden view. Guests may also use of the pool and hammock.

With only one step up into the space from the parking area and on level ground with the pool, this is a good place for those with mobility concerns.

Towels and linens for use in the cabina are provided. Guests are responsible for their own beach towels and beach blankets.

Wireless internet is provided.

This is a pure Costa Rica experience - not all polish and shine, but comfortable and inviting and the stuff that memories are made of.

Why can't I call Kim (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kim (the owner) a message.

If Kim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
