From the owner

The Fig Tree Villa is situated in the La Chismosa area, near Playa Flamenca and La Florida just south of Torrevieja Costa Blanca. On a quiet private gated complex it is ideal for a relaxing break, good for couples and families alike. Part of a block of four the villa has two bedrooms with twin beds downstairs in Bedroom 1 and a King upstairs in Bedroom 2, a spacious lounge which is open to the fully fitted kitchen at one end. A separate dining area and a large terrace and private pool.

One bathroom is on the ground floor with a wet room style shower but no bath.

This Villa is in an ideal location for rest and relaxation, but if lounging and dipping in the pool is not your thing there is still plenty for you to do. Five minutes in the car will reach find one of the many blue flag beaches along the coast. Play a round of golf on the Villa Martin course, also 5 minutes away by car, or maybe visit the bustling town of Torrevieja.Air conditioning via a coin meter is available in both bedrooms and the lounge. Free WiFi keeps you in touch.

As the Villa is on a gated community parking is on the adjacent street moments away.

The impressive Zenia Boulevard with many shops and restaurants can be reached in 20 minutes walking or literally 5 minutes by car. A taxi back this summer was just over 7 euros.

If you are looking for a lively break or are a same gender young group this Villa is really not for you. Many of our neighbours live here full time and we ask that you consider them whilst enjoying your holiday.

As we operate touristic accommodation we are required by Spanish law to supply the Guardia Civil with the personal data of each of our paying holiday rental guests over the age of 16 years within 24 hours after their arrival. To this end we will send you a link after booking confirmation to Check In Scan which allows a quick scan of ID documentation and guest signature.

We will also forward access to our Guidebook for Fig Tree Villa which gives you more useful information about the house and the local area.

Are there sunloungers?

Four are provided around the pool area although not shown in the pictures.

Can we walk to bars and restaurants?

5/10 minutes will find the The Banana Tree Thai, Concierto Cafeteria, Pablos International and Clarkes Bar and in the opposite direction Horatios Restaurant, Caferteria Las Chismosas and the Wan Yuan Chinese.

How far is Zenia Boulevard?

5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walking.

How far is the Playa Flamenca Saturday market?

Just beyond Clarkes Bar, a 6/7 minute walk.

How far is the nearest beach?

Cala Mosca is 8 mins by car or a 30 mins walk.

Local bus service?

The nearest stop is 2 mins walk and takes you close to the beach and has links to Torrevieja.

Taxi?

Plentiful, book able by phone and approx 8 Euro to Zenia Boulevard.

Airports?

Murcia is closest at 30 mins away. Alicante a little further at 45 mins.

Cleaning fee / Damage deposit?

We do not charge a cleaning or linen fee. ( Bedding and house towels are provided )

We hope guests treat our house with respect and therefore do not ask for a damage deposit.

Airconditioning?

Three units. One in each bedroom and one in the Lounge. Operated independently via a coin meter which takes one and two Euro coins. Charged at the same rate we pay the provider it was installed to encourage sensible use. On average most guests use 6/8 Euro in a week.

Checking and Departure?

We ask that check in is after 3pm and departure by 10am.

We do however try to be flexible on timings when possible.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
