09/06/2018: The apartment has just been completely redecorated throughout.

This beautiful apartment is just 20 metres from the beach of Playa San Juan and has recently been totally redecorated throughout. Extremely spacious, it has a wonderful balcony with stunning sea views over the sea. It also has English language TV with all the popular UK TV Channels, high speed WiFi Internet Access, an enormous shared roof terrace with incredible views to the sea and mountains, a private laundry and beautiful furnishings throughout.

Located just 20 minutes drive north of Playa de Las Americas and 15 minutes south of Los Gigantes, Playa San Juan is considered to be Tenerife's best kept secret. Once you've stayed here, you'll never want to holiday anywhere else on the island. That's a promise!

WHY PLAYA SAN JUAN?

1. The island of Tenerife has 25 micro-climates and Playa San Juan has more hours of sunshine (all the year round) than anywhere else in the Canary Islands. So, when it's raining in the north of the island and cloudy in the south, it's almost always beautifully clear and sunny in Playa San Juan!

2. The apartment is located just 15 metres from the most beautiful, relaxing beach on the island (see photos). The water is crystal clear and always the perfect temperature for a swim. It's like having a huge, salt-water swimming pool right on your doorstep.

3. You won't find any of the nasty, overcrowded and expensive cafes, restaurants and bars that are typical of Las Americas, Los Cristianos and Los Gigantes. Instead Playa San Juan has a great selection of high-quality yet inexpensive cafes and restaurants, serving an array of delicious Spanish and International cuisine. The bars in Playa San Juan are all very friendly and have a local Spanish feel to them. And you won't be charged more just because you're not a local.

4. Playa San Juan is suited to those who appreciate the finer things in life and enjoy relaxing and taking in the scenery and Spanish culture more than partying till the early hours of the morning. Having said that, if you fancy a late night out dancing, then the busy resorts of Playa La Arena, Los Gigantes, Las Americas and Los Cristianos are only 5-25 minutes drive away by car and the local bus will take you there every 30 minutes.

5. Playa San Juan has the most beautiful and peaceful fishing port in Tenerife (see photos). If you like fishing or boats then this is a wonderful place to spend time.

6. You'll enjoy stunning views of the nearby island of La Gomera (see photos). The sunsets in Playa San Juan are equally breathtaking!

7. If you're a golf fanatic, the world-class Abama Hotel Resort is just 5 minutes drive away and offers a fantastic 18-hole golf course. The beautiful Adeje Golf Club is also only 15 minutes drive from Playa San Juan and the Callao Golf School is just 10 minutes drive away.

Excellent apartment San Juan is a wonderful place typically Spainish not typically Tenerife that I rember from my younger days. Excellent bars and restaurants very traditional.

The only problem we had was nothing to do with the apartment but with commuication with Holiday Lettings who did not let us know when we had to pay the last installment and then we got an email to say that the booking had been cancelled. Fortunately it could be instantly remedied via the very helpful owner.

Everything was as described and Philip and Kimberley couldn't have done more. We received a message on the day before arrival to confirm arrangements. We phoned from the airport and met Kimberley at the apartment which was spotlessly clean, bright, spacious and well equipped. It's balcony had a sea view and it's location was perfect. We had English TV and fantastic Wi-Fi. This is unquestionably worth a 5 star review.

Just back from a week at this amazing apartment. Really want to keep it to ourselves but sadly that's not possible!! The location and apartment are first class. Everything was exactly as it appeared in the advert but the personal touch from Philip was the icing on the cake!! It was spotless, well equipped and the decor was both fresh and homely. It is central for easy access to the beach, bars and cafes, but equally peaceful and quiet for sitting out on the balcony. We just wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back!!

Why can't I call MrP (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send MrP (the owner) a message.

If MrP (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
