Description

A little piece of heaven , solitude , limited cell phone access, No internet, beautiful 180 degree view of the water , explore the beach, experience wild life & sea life just outside your door , fish off the dock on site , paddle in canoe in early Am or late PM . Friendly neighbors are just a walk up the beech, relax in the cool of the evening by a campfire, roast wieners & marshmallows with the kids. This is family time at its best & your family's chance to get away from it all, and you can drive right to the door! Only one & half hours from Gander International Airport.

All electric heat or (wood stove with wood supplied) and fridge ,stove, microwave, stat-elite TV, with full bath. However, water supply is limited during times of low precipitation, thus may require showering by using a camp shower bag (provided) & flushing with a bucket of water dipped from the ocean only a couple feet away from the cottage. From Sept to June there is no running water, however the peacefulness, the sunrise & the sunset reflecting across the water view, is well worth it . Every Painter or Photographer will want to remember their experience it in picture! Every person's soul longs for a peaceful place like this!

All guest are invited to visit our home or B & B located in Point Leamington (5km drive) for a Free evening of Traditional Newfoundland Music & Storytelling (performances held every 2ND -3rd evening).You are welcome to bring your own Instruments, voices & stories, or we can provide you with a quick lesson on the Ulgy Stick! We like to be entertained too!

House rules

Guest must be over 20 yrs old . Pets are an extra $25. Absolutely NO Late Night Parties! Family gatherings are permitted. Cottage & Premises must be left in tidy condition ie. all dishes MUST be washed, dried & returned to cup board, Soiled towels can be placed in the hamper provided and floors swept.. Garbage needs to be sorted as per local regulations as posted inside cabin , Bins provided.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Cindy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
