No 28 The Bay is a stylishly appointed and modern detached property with commanding views of the Talland Valley on one side and the ocean on the other. The property is conveniently laid out over four floors that can comfortably host up to seven adults and children. The large sitting room, with its high vaulted ceiling, includes an entertainment system and plenty of books and games to accompany the wood burner for those colder and wetter days. The kitchen/dining room is a great place to sit and chat. There are several items included in the property to make life easier for families bringing small children including a baby changing mat, children's loo seat, children's step, baby monitor and swimming floats.

Outside there is a hot tub to relax in (come summer or winter) and plenty of seating upstairs and down to bask in the great Cornish weather and enjoy the views. Finally, a charcoal B-B-Q offers the opportunity for some outdoor cooking.

(Please note there is an additional charge of £200.00 per week for the hot tub)

"Second time to The Bay and it didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect from the weather to the wonderful location of House 28. Countryside to the front and the ocean to the back. The house is more than well-equipped and watching the stars from the hot tub was a luxury every evening. All the staff are friendly and super helpful, we cannot wait to return. Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to submit such a detailed and informative review. We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay and are planning on coming back to us. It's great that you managed to sample all our facilities on site and even brave the plunge pool!!! I will definitely pass on the comment about ceiling fans to the owner of the property, as it looks like we're in for even hotter weather in the coming months. On the subject of the internet, our connection here is generally pretty good now (but it is still Cornwall!) and when we are full on site (as we were during your stay)it can get a little clogged up, especially when houses are using multiple devices. We are hoping that at some point in the not too distant future we will be getting a fibre connection down in this part of Cornwall, so hopefully this will improve things. Once again, thank you very much for your review, and let us know when you've orgainsed your leave for next year... Best Wishes, The Bay Talland Team.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact the property manager to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
