From the moment you walk through the front door, a Caribbean influenced ambiance permeates your very soul and you realize that you have truly left your every day stress behind and entered into a "feel good" existence of tropical getaway. Everything you need to occupy your time is here - right at your fingertips.

It has been said: "A picture is worth a thousand words" so what follows is a brief description of the house and property in the form of a quick read so you can spend more time on the pics and contacting us! The theme of what we did here is LIFESTYLE.....get away.....relax....& have a little FUN! We live in Southern California - but come here to really kick-back and enjoy a tropical lifestyle, beautiful ocean, and nearby islands in a truly great climate.

As lifelong yacht owners, certified scuba divers, with years of experience on both East & West Coasts, in the Bahamas and Caribbean, as well as Hawaii, my husband and I have created this property as our personal tropical getaway. Our yacht, conveniently located at the backyard dock, can also be available to you, complete with crew and all amenities for charter. The Property:

Living room - high ceiling, very open and perfect for entertaining or lounging around and watching the latest DVDs or satellite TV. Large bar for entertaining yourself and your guests. Dining room and kitchen speak for themselves - just look at the pictures and check out the wine cooler, large refrigerator, stove, micro, high ceilings and huge windows and French doors overlooking the pool, new 80' dock, boat and - across the WIDE CHANNEL - the boat dealer's stunning selection of multi-million dollar yachts (no houses or neighbors in sight!)

Interesting authentic movie memorabilia helps decorate the house and give guests something to enjoy and talk about (if interested) and the office has computer, wireless high speed internet, etc. if you feel the urge to stay in touch.

4 bedrooms accommodate 8; Master - King size with bath, large sitting room & French doors leading to pool and beyond. Executive guest with Queen bed, sitting area, large closet, and French doors leading to the pool. Twin beds in #3 and bunk beds for the kids in #4. The large living room sofa also makes into a bed if needed. Bathroom #2 has steam shower enclosure and outside door.....leading to the pool, which is 7' deep with spa and water feature.

After you go out of any of the above mentioned doors you find yourself in paradise - day or night. Pool, spa, ample deck and dining furniture, large grill, and authentic Tiki bar (just like in the islands) for enjoying those tropical drinks are yours in a setting most people fly to those islands to experience. Great fun - you won't even need to close your eyes and use your imagination to feel the warm ocean breeze and hear it rustle through palm trees.....just look around and take it all in - over & over.

Walk over to the new 8' wide dock and relax - check out the 58' Express Yacht that is ready for charter day cruise on the Intracoastal or beyond, or some of the water toys that can be available upon request (additional arrangements for this stuff can be made in advance, depending upon availability.)

Recently we completely remodeled/upgraded the house in - keeping a little of the 60's "retro" feel just for fun. Nearly all of the furniture, amenities, utensils etc. etc. are new so no "funky stuff" can be found.

This is our personal "getaway" so we enjoy having our children & grandkids come to play here and will delight in sharing it with you if you're really ready to go for it! Now check out those pictures again.........

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Judith (the owner) a message.

If Judith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
