Create quality memories in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal at Belvedere Game Ranch. This family-run accommodation is situated in the beautiful bushveld of Northern KwaZulu-Natal and offers friendly and quality service as well as a chance to experience the wonders of the African bush.

The reserve covers 1400 hectares stocked with a variety of game including Buffalo, Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Warthog, Bushbuck, Zebra, Blue wildebeest, Red- and Grey Duiker and other small game species.

Accommodation at Belvedere Game Ranch

The superbly appointed lodge is situated in the centre of the reserve, and is surrounded by lush bushveld. There are six different suites to choose from at Belvedere Game Ranch, each one is en-suite and tastefully decorated.

The Lodge has a self-catering central kitchen, however full catering is also available. The family room has a private kitchenette and braai area.

Each room can accommodate up to two people, twin and King-sized bed options fitted with comfortable linen. The rooms all have en-suite bathrooms with a shower, fresh towels and air-conditioning. The De-lux Room has a bath, shower and an outside shower under the stars.

The kitchen in the main lodge is fully-equipped to handle all your self-catering needs. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric stove and gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, fridge and freezer, braai utensils and a potjie pot. You can purchase extra wood for the fireplace and braai.

Facilities at Belvedere Game Ranch

Besides the kitchen area, the main lodge also has a lounge, bar and dining area where you can sit back and relax outside of your room during your stay. Sip on a sundowner at the “preekstoel” lookout point, as you take in the views of the natural surroundings.

A plunge pool is available for you to use at your leisure; a great way to cool down during those scorching summer days. For those who enjoy getting a tan or soaking up some sun, there are lounger chairs available.

Among the wide variety of activities you can enjoy on the farm, Belvedere offers a one-of-a-kind mountain biking experience along the Zulu Kingdom Trails. You can expect to ride some of the most natural, lightly hand-crafted, all-mountain trails while enjoying the peace and quiet of the serene bushveld. With an expansive network of single-track trails, supplemented by many kilometres of wilderness trails, double track trails and farm roads, Zulu Kingdom Trails caters for mountain bikers of all levels and abilities. For the more adventurous, there is the Belvedere Preekstoel Loop with its unrivalled vistas of the Kingdom landscape. You can totally immerse yourself in nature and encounter wildlife as you ride through the landscape.

Belvedere Game Ranch is also part of the Important Birding and Biodiversity Area (IBA) and has a vulture restaurant onsite that you can visit during your stay.
