It’s located along the ancient route "Lorenze", market and pilgrimage routes between Florence and Arezzo, across cultivated fields and woods, through medieval villages well preserved, reaching Casentino’s valley.

"Casentino" is known for its castles, shrines, monasteries and medieval villages rich in culture and art; it was the home of Dante Alighieri during exile, and many of these places are cited in the Divine Comedy, but it is also a place of prayer and meditation, in fact St. Francis retired there and received the stigmata at La Verna.

The territory, surrounded by the park of Casentino forests, is reserve of plants and wild animals, ideal for walks with mountain bike and trekking, also offers various fun opportunities: golf-tennis-football-swimming pool.

During the year, in the various countries of Casentino, festivals, events and celebrations are organized, and they recall at ancient crafts typical of the place.
