From the owner

Dolphin House is a lovely traditional Cornish Cottage sitting beautifully in the heart of Port Isaac’s historic fishing village on the North Cornwall coast. Foodies will find Nathan Outlaw’s 2 Michelin starred restaurants a few minutes walk away. Rock and Padstow's restaurants are approx 20-30 minutes drive (Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth & Prawn on the lawn). In and around the village are a wide selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Dolphin House comfortably accommodates up to 10 people.

The large, cosy lounge with comfy sofas is perfect for a relaxing evening by the log fire after exploring Port Isaac and the surrounding coastal villages.

There is a newly fitted kitchen (2022) for preparing those laid back family meals to be enjoyed in the dining room or if you are lucky in the garden!

Dolphin House’s 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms plus downstairs toilet provides plenty of space for the perfect family get-away. Barbara Hawkins’s works adorne the lounge and some bedroom walls. Barbara is a reknowned Cornish artist. Her husband is a hugely successful potter and founder member of the fisherman’s friends shanty singers.

On sunny days the front and rear gardens provide an ideal playing out space for the children or for al fresco drinks for the adults.

Dolphin House is a gem tucked away in the winding streets of the village.

Pets are welcome by arrangement on booking - fees may apply and we respectfully ask owners not to allow pets on furniture or upstairs please and of course to clear up the garden if necessary.

Ground floor: Kitchen, WC, antique pine panelled dining room, lounge including wood burning stove, TV with BT Vision, DVD player and wrap around sound and portable bluetooth speaker

First floor: 2 king size bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, large family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Second floor: 2 twin bedrooms; bathroom with bath, toilet and basin and another bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

External: Walled and gated rear garden with garden furniture and BBQ, parking for x1 car, public parking available in the village approx 10 mins walk from £2.90 per day (seasonal prices)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
