Beautiful home located on the beach side of Windmark Beach, Florida three miles west of Port St. Joe. The home was built in 2006 and offers unmatched panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. The main house features 1882 square feet on two levels. The kitchen, living room, dining room and one guest bedoom are located on the upper level to take full advantage of the spectacular views.

The Carriage House is located over the garage and provides another 1000 square feet of living space including a second master bedroom, full bath, mini-kitchen and guest sleeping area along with a private deck overlooking the Gulf.

Due to recent changes, renters will not have access to the garage area. There is plenty of parking outside of the garage.

- Guest Bedroom #1 - Lower Level Main House - Queen.

- Guest Bedroom #2 - Upper Level Main House - Twin over Full bunk bed + full-sized baby crib.

A separate Pack N' Play is stored in the upstairs kitchen pantry.

The Home is considered the premier home in Windmark Beach and was featured on the cover of the June/July edition of Home & Design Magazine. It is professionally decorated and features over 80 windows and 10 swinging French doors to 'live outdoors while you're indoors'...there are spectacular 360 degree views from each living area and five decks directly overlook the Gulf of Mexico.

Sorry this response is so late - i didn't even know our property was listed on this website ! this is the husband to the wife of my only 2 bad reviews. they came in right after Hurricane michael - 2 years ago. they were well aware of the situation and given a huge discount because of it. we offered them many opportunities to reschedule or be refunded but they wanted to come anyway. i sent pictures and videos for them because i did not want to mislead them !!!!! - at this time, after the hurricane - the beaches were spectacular but our home was under reconstruction -- as the whole area was. i appreciated that & certainly am BIAS because i do love this area so much. i also believe - people, places - become more beautiful - after surviving such pain. our area - to me and so many others - 2 years later is MUCH more beautiful NOW than this place ever was. our home has had a total makeover. so has this area. if you go to HOMEAWAY or VRBO you will see reviews of many , many other families with 5 star reviews. I hope you give us a chance , I am a FATE girl - go with your gut on his review or mine. we are a Family only rental and feel honored & lucky to not only share our beautiful beach home but to share our area too. This family had so many opportunities to reschedule their vacation. they literally wanted to come down a few months after a CAT 5 hurricane hit our area. Our home was not at its best at all / we were UNDER major construction which this couple was well aware of and took a huge discounted price because of that. our home was very livable but not at all where we wanted it to be. the reason they wanted to still come - was the BEACH was unbelievably spectacular ( it always is after a storm ) with no one around and they got a huge discounted price. a few weeks prior to their arrival, i sent them pictures and videos ( not at all cropped ) because i did not want to mislead them. i knew - i loved the area - but ... also knew i am extremely bias. i wanted my kids to see the area affected after the hurricane ---not only after we did all the work to fix things back up. i wanted them to see the area and homes around us. to appreciate - what we all went through. to see the beauty in the aftermath - help others that were not as lucky as us. that was very important to me. to help others not as lucky as us. and for my boys to see what mother nature can do. to always be respectful of her. what surprised me ....is - because our home was livable - we had lots of offers of workers being brought in from out of town for big jobs that needed to be done in our area. most hotels were down and the ones that survived were charging outrageous nightly rentals for one room. we were getting offers for groups of guys wanting to pay us very good money to rent our home during this time ... but i couldn't do that to ANNETTE because over the course of planning her family vacation - we grew to be friends. so honestly - i was really pushing the reschedule - not to be MEAN. but because i knew our home wasn't up to par and ... maybe selfishly - i knew these groups of guys were offering us so much more money. she really wanted to still come. even after the pictures & videos. and i respected that. so turned down many offers. then they arrive & to be honest i had never talked to the husband at all ( he wrote the other bad review on top of hers ). he called screaming and hollering at me so bad because upon arrival - some creatures most have gotten into our trash bins and spread the trash all over. he was so angry ! and i get that. i would have been mad too. thats gross. but his tone with me - was so horrible - that i actually had to say " your going to have to talk to my husband " then - again, upon arrival - i offered them to NOT unpack and just leave , i would offer them a full refund. they didn't exit the property for a full week after that. it was just as much as a nightmare for me as it was for them , i guess. but - i will say - in 10 years of renting our home ... you are bound to have a few bad ones. this is our ONLY bad experience. we feel blessed to share our home , and this area with so many wonderful families. we are a family rental only. i hope you go with your gut - and if you believe him , i understand. but if you don't - give us a chance. we won't let you down. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
