This unique recently rebuilt building with new construction materials located on the Douro riverfront is not only a apartment filled with natural luminous sunshine until the sunsets but also allows you to sit on the balcony to absorb the unforgettable view of Vila Nova de Gaia, the Arrabida Bridge and the Douro River on the horizon that takes your breath away…..all inserted amongst the most privileged surrounding areas of Porto.

One bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom with a fully equipped kitchen and small outdoor iron worked balcony.

The building is positioned in a quiet area next to the riverfront of the River Douro and in a perfect location central to everything around as: the historical center (15-minute walk), beach (10-minute by bus/20 min walk) and lush green gardens of the Crystal Palace Park (20-minute walk). The Porto Douro River guest house large apartment windows allow for all the natural sunlight to penetrate into the apartment with an unlimited view of the Douro (gold) River and Atlantic Ocean and the sky which allows you to enjoy unforgettable moments and all the quiet you will need at the end of the afternoon when you come back to relax after a long exciting day in central Porto,

There is no stipulated prices because they are tailor-made programs according to your personal interests (I offer programs which are flexible depending on your time duration in Porto (a few hours, one day, two days or more, we can give an estimate in euros after contact and preparing the itinerary).......and your preference.

“Beautiful appartment with lovely views of River Douro”

We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of July. A perfect base to explore Porto - only 15mins to the centre of town. Cristina picked us up from the airport (about 25mins away) for a modest fee and showed us the sights of Porto on the way, which was a perfect start to our holiday! The apartment is well appointed with a stylish kitchen and open plan sitting area. It's first floor with a great view from the balcony - nice for enjoying the river views in the evening, but high up enough for privacy. The open plan area is separated from the bedroom by a clever one way mirrored panel which gives total privacy in the bedroom but also allows all the light through. Bathroom with shower is small but comfortable and has everything you need, including a double sink, dressing table and even little ironing board! The only drawback to our holiday was a concert stage right outside the window for the first couple of nights - playing well in to the night! But apparently the music festival only happens once a year, and even though it was loud we managed to sleep through it. So I thoroughly recommend this apartment and it was lovely to meet the charming Cristina, who was a wealth of information about what to do in Porto, and even contacted me during our stay to tell me about a great local market in a nearby town.... We shall be back!

How do damage deposits work?
