From the owner

I am proposing the selling and the renting of my property in Sardinia.

These are some informations about the property.

The Emerald Coast is a tourist destination popular with the VIPs and it is a well-defined area of 3500 hectares extending in the north-east of Sardinia.

The Emerald Coast was discovered by Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, who in the 60s was struck by such incorrupt and luxuriant beauty and decided to establish a luxury resort. The Consorzio Costa Smeralda, an association created in 1962 between property owners and land owners was thus constituted with the aim of enhancing and developing the area in harmony with the environment.
Now the consortium is owned by the Emir of the Qatar Hamad Bin Kalifa Al-Thani.
Anyone who buys property (apartments, villas, hotels, land) in this territory is automatically associated with the Consorzio Costa Smeralda, the Emerald Coast Consortium.
This Consortium provides a range of services including: security service to ensure homeland security, environmental protection services (cleaning, maintenance, public parks, lighting, and sewerage), water and medical services.
The Emerald Coast, taking its name from the colour of the crystal clear waters, ranging from green to dark blue, extends about 40 km and is characterized by 80 beaches alternating with granite cliffs shading unique pink and yellow tones.

The construction of properties has been strictly regulated; vividly coloured walls, cotto roof tiles, pergolas, terraces and the use of local natural materials such as wood and stone are just some elements underlying the regulation imposed by the Consortium.
Porto Cervo, the capital of the Emerald Coast, saw the birth of the first houses around the old port in 1962; later, a larger port was created equipped with modern facilities with over 700 berths (Porto Cervo Marina).
Walking through the narrow cotto-paved streets, you will reach the prestigious "piazzetta" with offices, banks, boutiques, restaurants and the famous Hotel Cervo.
Do not miss the characteristic Stella Maris church, designed by architect Busiri Vici.

The Emerald Coast is the most important European real estate market of second home, beloved by princes, businessmen, artists from around the world.
The properties of the Emerald Coast are particularly elegant dream villas designed by famous architects for the holidays of wealthy people.
Elegance designed to preserve the landscape.
Everything is looked after in every detail with the aim of making "invisible houses", low and camouflaged in nature.
Among the most famous areas of the Emerald Coast there are:
• Porto Cervo, the most populous and popular urban centre of the Consortium;
• Cala di Volpe, the charming bay behind the Pevero Golf Club, home to the eponymous luxury hotel designed by J. Couëlle in perfect smeraldino style;
• Romazzino is a location where many villas can be found as well as one of the most exclusive hotels with a unique view over the sea;
• Piccolo and Grande Pevero with its white sandy beaches surrounded by beautiful villas with direct access to the sea;
• Pantogia on the hill has a 180° view over the sea;
• Liscia di Vaccca a historical area where architect arch. S. Couëlle designed the most important villas;
The most important architects who contributed to the harmonious development of the territory were: Vietti, Gamondi, Mossa, Martin, Couëlle, Busiri Vici and Béthoux.

The property is located in Le Terrazze del Porto, Via della Goletta 1, Porto Cervo.
It is composed by n°4 main bedrooms with bathroom on suite, a big kitchen, a living area inside and a covered living area outside, a dining area inside and a covered dining area outside and two parking bay.
The property is totally furnished with precious South African furniture.
The property has been published by the specialized magazine VILLE & CASALI in June 2005 and LIVING ON THE COAST edition 2007.

Some distinct futures are:
• the distance from the shopping way is of 200m;
• the property could be divided how were originally in two single residential properties;
• only one level combines the courtyard, the residential area, the veranda, the garden and the pool;
• the kitchen is very big for the standard of a holidays home;
• two big sliding doors hide themselves in the wall creating a very big open space dining area and living area;
• the property is equipped with a cooling and heating system;
• the energetic class is F;
• two parking bay area not covered.
