For walkers, skiers, mountaineers, outdoor enthusiasts (including VTT and fly fishing), families and those who love the French Alps. You will find this apartment to be a perfectly located holiday or expedition base, at the heart of the village and Vanoise National Park. The apartment is cosy, well maintained and well equipped, and contains everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

Les Glieres is a small, modern, alpine style residence of 9 apartments and 5 shops. Its spacious foyer contains secure ski lockers and the apartment is accessed via a heated hallway. The pretty living area is connected directly to all other rooms and in particular gives access via the picture window to the south facing and secure balcony. This enjoys spectacular views of the mountains and is a great vantage point for the local summer fetes and processions. It is equipped with seating and dining tables for outdoor dining and sunbathing. There is underfloor heating in the winter, with electric radiators in all rooms.

Within the apartment there is: Kitchen (with electric hob, Miele microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and a wide range of crockery and utensils); Lounge / dining area (dining table, 6 chairs, large sofa bed converting to 1 double or 2 singles, satellite flat screen TV, mini hi-fi, storage cupboards and wardrobe); Bedroom (1 double or 2 single beds); Bathroom (bath, shower attachment, basin); Seperate WC; Ski Locker; Private parking; Small shared garden. There is a laundrette in the village. Pillows and blankets are provided. Towels and sheets required - or these can be hired in the village.

The owners can also arrange a 10% discount on the hire of ski equipment. Please contact the owners.

Should you need any help during your stay, our agent in the village is on hand. Some English is spoken.

Eurostar runs a direct French ski service on weekends between London and Moutiers between mid December and mid April.

We chose Pralognan as it is still relatively unspoilt, not too effected by skiing infrastructure and is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The weather in early July was perfect as were the walks… More

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michael & Michele (the owner) a message.

If Michael & Michele (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
