This lovely villa will accommodate a group of four people and an infant in comfort and privacy in two good sized bedrooms, each of them with ceiling fans and large built-in wardrobes. There is a lounge dining room, with an impressively large kitchen enabling you to spread out, take in the beautiful weather and relax. We have both covered and sun terraces, and a private swimming pool for your sole use. The villa stays cool through the summer as like most Spanish built houses it has been designed that way.

Car hire is recommended to make the most of what this fantastic area has to offer, and the access to the villa is only three minutes' drive from the turquoise waters of the lake, plus there are several restaurants just a stroll away. However should you just want to relax by the pool and self-cater there are plenty of local shops just a few minute drive away, with a large shopping mall 10 minutes down the road near to the coast. Kitchen;

Everything that you could possibly want to make your holiday as relaxing, and as easy as possible. There is a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, coffee machine, toaster, juicer, fridge/freezer, and even Tupperware and cool-boxes for your picnic down by the lake.

Lounge/diner;

This well-furnished room is home from home. It has a wood burner for those cosy winter nights, and is equipped with TV, DVD player and iPod docking station.

Master bedroom;

This has a double bed, an en-suite with a large walk-in shower and both bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Bedroom 2;

Well-proportioned with views across the valley, twin beds, large built-in wardrobes and the bathroom right next door.

Outside;

There are several terraces; sun and shade, with plentiful seating and sunbeds for everyone overlooking the private pool. There is a large gas barbecue and solid teak dining table with comfortable chairs.

Other services;

We are able to offer extremely competitive car rental from Malaga airport, alternatively we can arrange to transfer you to the villa from the airport and the car will be delivered to your villa. Should you arrange to collect your car at the airport, our agent will meet you, hand you the keys and you will be on your way in minutes, potentially saving you up to an hour and a half queuing at the rental desk.

We can arrange for days out that include, walking and cycling tours, boat trips, wake boarding, sightseeing and even a flight from our local airstrip. You will be both collected and returned to your villa, allowing all of your party to fully enjoy the day.

In the immediate area you can; walk, go bird-watching, paint, or for the more energetic; mountain bike, kayak or sail on Lake Vinuela.

Location and Amenities

The villa is so easy to get to, and is ideally positioned, you are a two minute stroll from one of the best restaurants in the area, and a three minute drive from another, with the typical 'White Villages' of the Axarquia all within a few kilometres, and of course the absolutely stunning, Lake Vinuela down below. The activities of the area include; sailing and sail boat hire, walking, horse riding, Land Rover safari's in to the mountains and the National Park, bird watching, sailing, fishing and of course golf.

Golf

There are 2 very good local golf courses, both having spectacular views as you play. Baviera is 20 minutes drive and Anoreta is 30 minutes. We have several sets of clubs available for hire.

Local attractions

The coastal resort town of Torre del Mar and the more Spanish, Velez-Malaga, are 15 minutes drive, with a water park for the children, cinema and bowling. Colourful local markets which provide excellent shopping, some very good supermarkets, and the usual high street fashion shops ... in fact everything that you get at home. The pretty town of Nerja with its neighbouring mountain village of Frigiliana are 45 minutes drive and, the city of Granada with world-famous Alhambra Palace and the historical cities of Cordoba, Seville, and Gibraltar are also great for an exciting day out. Another must is a day in Malaga with the Picasso museum, winding old-town streets, bull-ring, the huge cathedral and its elegant shops. Stop for typical tapas in one of the many bars or go down to the beach at El Palo for some fresh seafood, or spend the day on one of the large, safe and clean beaches all along the coast.

Winter and Summer:

We are less than two hours drive away from the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada. The ski village is also a very good place to visit in the summer with mountain bike hire available. Should you visit us in the winter, the slopes are suitable for skiers of all levels of skill and experience, but you do not have to ski to have an excellent day out. There are separate free sledging runs for the children, and adults, to enjoy, with sledges for hire at a few euros.
