Golondrina 28: a bright and comfortable Bungalow at forefront in Playa Matagorda, the most peaceful and safest on island: a very privileged situation! The bungalow Golondrina 28 is located on the first row to the beach, in the best group (the 4) of 7 of a well-known resort, facing the long beach of Matagorda, a few minutes from the heart of the tourist center of Puerto Del Carmen. Here, less than 30 meters away the 18 Kilometers of beach that crawl between Puerto del Carmen and Arrecife, guests will enjoy above all the rest and relaxation, while being able to easily walk to all amenities such as shops, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Golondrina 28 is the corner bungalow of a small row of four, all situated only on ground floor, with a beautiful fully furnished sun terrace with a thatched roof and access ramp, in south-west exposure. From the terrace, guests do not watch here on the wall next to the resort, but on a very large palm garden that was created as a windbreak: a unique touch that only Matagorda has. Between the palms sparkles, especially in the afternoon, the Atlantic Ocean, and the sunsets on Lanzarote are sometimes dramatics. The bungalow has a living-dining area with spacious American kitchen with a breakfast bar, a bathroom with tub and marble basin, a so-called Solana (a refreshing inner courtyard for hanging laundry, store beach stuff and refresh the apartments in the warmest days), and a separate bedroom with two big single beds that can be put together easily and a very spacious wardrobe with a safe-deposit (free of charge). The lounge is comfortable, modern and attractively decorated in bright colors and lovely details. At no further payment is at your disposal a TV with all international satellite and TDT programs, a DVD/CD player and a radio; there is as well free of charge wireless internet and even a phone to receive your calls from home. In the kitchen all services are collected in a built-in with cooker hood, washing machine, double glass fire-stove, fridge, microwave and a little double-grill oven which allow self-sufficiency at home. Cooking and eating utensils, small appliances, cups and cutlery abound. For the sometimes slightly cooler nights in the winter of Lanzarote (do not forget that we are in Africa), an heta pump aircon (free of charge) and some plaids are at hand; while the summer heat is moderated significantly by the typical Canarian roof, the open "solana" and a fan. A fantastic new air-conditioning system (cold and warm) will also help, both in summer and winter.

Close to the airport (but not noisy!) Matagorda is definitely the safest area, hot, green and peaceful on the island, in addition to the more central! It is served, in front of the Resort, by two long, sandy and free beaches. The road that separates the resort from the beach is closed to the traffic, (except for the police: a discreet but constant control) so you can say you are right on the beach! The road is for pedestrians (that allows a walk in the shade of palm trees) and for bicycles. Near the complex there is a large and well equipped shopping center with supermarket, banks, bars and restaurants of all kinds, and cheap car rental. Golondrina 28 is located in the front row to the beach of the touristic complex. There are only 30 meters from the Paseo Maritimo! And then the beach is just there! Right next to Golondrina 28, the lapping of the quiet pool invites you to a dive. Matagorda is the northern part of Puerto del Carmen and is highly appreciated by our guests as an alternative to the pulsating life in the center. Nevertheless, here it is anything but boring if you would like to leave his resting area. A taxi will take a few minutes (10/20 minutes walking) to where, boom, according to taste, the bass or just the Timple sounds fine. But what really makes this place so beautiful, is that the mile-wide beach and the Paseo Maritimo are only for pedestrians and bicycles (no cars!). Matagorda also offers a bus service to Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Arrecife.

How do damage deposits work?

If Alessandra (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
