Villa Frances is located just a few kilometres from the airport and just a 2 minute walk from the lovely beaches of Puerto de Carmen. Enjoy a glass of sangria on the balcony whilst admiring the beautiful sea views, or have a refreshing dip in the private heated pool. The private patio area complete with barbecue and cactus garden is perfect for al fresco dining!
As the Villa is detached and the gardens surrounded by walls, you can relax and enjoy maximum privacy. Compared to the heat outside, the interior is surprisingly cool. But whenever the temperature rises, the upstairs, downstairs and outdoor showers are a refreshing alternative to the pool.
Lanzarote is the best island of the Canaries with the longest recorded sunshine hours. Puerto-del-Carmen - the island's favourite town - rests on the southern coast line with miles of sandy beaches, countless palms, open-air cafes, superb restaurants, bars, clubs, casinos, sports facilities, supermarkets and a great variety of interesting shops.

My all-inclusive prices - below inflated resort rates - are much lower than equivalent accommodation.
The price for the whole Villa includes a weekly Maid Service; cot hire is available on request. The going rate for the villas of this size and standard is almost double my charge, but as you are dealing directly with myself - the owner - there are no agent fees or hidden charges.
I employ local Maintenance Managers, who look after the house throughout the year. A non-returnable deposit of one-third is required with your booking confirmation. The balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday. Contact me for a price list.
Further details indoors
The clean and comfortable interior has high ceilings, Spanish floor tiles, traditional white walls and a wooden staircase. The windows are secured by ornamental iron grills and shutters. Classical wall-mounted lanterns light the rooms and hallways.
Two flights of stairs lead to the spacious open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the lounge. After a day on the beach, you can rest on the sofa or watch satellite TV or listen to music.
The dining area has a large table for all the family to enjoy the occasional home-cooked meals.
From the kitchen you enter a room - (with its own balcony) - containing washing machine, dishwasher and clothes line.
The second bathroom is reached from the lounge area.
Through the front door - beneath the balcony - you enter the hallway that leads to the bedrooms, a large bathroom and the staircase. To your left is the master bedroom with a double bed, bedside tables, and lamps, a dressing table, a large built-in wardrobe and a nice window to the pool and front garden.
Past the main bedroom are 2 more rooms with twin bedded rooms with similar furniture.
Further details outdoors
The wooden window frames, doors and balcony compliment the whitewashed exterior. The Villa stands quite a distance from the solid entrance gate that ensures complete privacy. The garden, pool and patio separate the Villa from the street. The garden continues at the side of the property to the rear. Comfortable sun-beds invite you to sunbathe or rest under the parasol.
The spacious front balcony gives you a view of the sea and - at certain times of the year - dolphins can be seen leaping in the air.
Many Guests start the day with breakfast on the balcony. The whole family sits round the table, under the bougainvillea that blossom 4 times a year. For those who cannot face the kitchen in the morning, English or continental breakfast is served down the road.
Evenings can be enjoyed on the quiet, private balcony with a glass of wine - overlooking the pool and illuminated garden.
The Villa has its very own heated salt water pool. To eliminate the harmful effects of excessive chlorine - so typical of most pools - I had mine converted to healthier salt water (with a much lower salt content than that of the sea).
My local Managers can adjust the temperature or switch the heating off completely. With children of all ages, the graduated shallow end is very popular. The deeper end is great for grown-ups and more competent swimmers. The front garden - between the bougainvillea-covered entrance arch and guitar-shaped pool - consists of palms, tropical plants, volcanic sand, stone arrangements and idyllic night lighting. And a spotlight illuminates the pool!
The garden continues along the pool, past the Villa and into the rear with a variety of vegetation. For many sunshine hours, the shaded back garden - separated from the outside world by another wall - is the coolest space outdoors.
