It is a wonderful place to holiday and experience the true Lanzarote lifestyle in an off the beaten track village. The village has a number of easy access sea swimming pools and a pebble beach all just a few minutes walk away. A short drive will take you to the stunning Arrieta golden sand beach, a valley of a thousand palms in Haria or visit the local caves.

Casa Lila consists of 2 bedrooms and is a modern holiday villa less than 100m from the sea, located in the tranquil coastal village of Punta Mujeres. Situated in a well maintained, private and gated complex of just six villas, perfect for families or couples, this villa is fully equipped for all your holiday needs. Complete with fully fitted kitchen, living room and dining room, light and airy master bedroom with dressing area with sea views. The villa has a front terrace overlooking the pool and hard wood decked area ideal for lounging in the sun. Within the traditional village of Punta Mujeres, the charm of Lanzarote has not been lost and sits comfortably alongside the many amenities provided, such as supermarkets, bakery, play park, sea front tapas bars.

Guests staying at Casa Lila are also welcome at any time to come and use the free facilities at the nearby eco village Finca De Arrieta such as; solar heated pool 13m x 2.5m, shaded day bed, laundry area, honesty shop, books / toys, children’s play park, giant chess, fresh eggs from the hen-house & ping-pong.

Thank you for leaving the feedback, we are always happy for people to take the time out to write their reviews. I am saddened to think that you could not come to us during your stay as we are available for any queries in our office between 09:00-22:00 everyday, you can contact us via telephone, email or even our live chat on our webpage which you used to book your holiday. You are also provided with an emergency contact number on your confirmation email, and in the welcome card and welcome book provided in the accommodation, for any situations such as this one. It would have been nice to have been given the opportunity to resolve the issues, in the moment, as we know we easily could have done so. Lanzarote Retreat’s is a family run local company, and we pride ourselves on a luxury accommodation and service, so we do not take this matters lightly. Once you had left the accommodation and then notified us of the issues you encountered, we instantly sent our maintenance and cleaning team in to investigate. There was a little humidity in the basement, but nothing to the extent of what you are claiming. However, taking on your feedback we have decided to improve our ventilation system in the basements, so as to resolve any further issues. In regards to the dishwasher, it was working without a problem and with no smell. If you had come to us during your stay, and shown us the issues, we would have been more than happy to resolve either of the issues in the moment, as we know we could have. We have never had a review of this nature on this accommodation, or any of the others for that matter. And for that reason we feel that these guests, rented the wrong accommodation and have made an issue in an attempt to reclaim their money back, especially seeing as they waited until after they had stayed for the 2 nights without hearing from them. Due to these guests not giving us the opportunity to resolve the issues during their stay, we felt that offering a 2 nights stay in any of our Luxury accommodations was more than generous.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
