Stay on the outskirts of the Vienna Woods, let yourself be woken up by twittering birds and enjoy breakfast in a glass-veranda from where you can enjoy the sight of the rolling hills of the Vienna Woods. If you want to attend cultural events in Vienna, the highly efficient underground U4 will take you to the city-centre - where most of the historical sites are situated - in just a few minutes. (In fact, it takes only 30 minutes from the living-room to St. Stephen’s Square and 20 minutes to the castle Schönbrunn which may well be faster than from a central district in Vienna as you do not have to change trams or buses).

Shopping: Shops, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets etc. are situated within a few minutes’ walk. A shopping-mall with a cinema-complex is 10 minutes away.

It is very interesting to get a review after the tenant left the flat two years ago! We asked very polite after some weeks that the young son (4 years) should not destroy all flowers and plants in our garden. She answered: „He is just a boy!“ In the contract the tenant signed and we informed that they have to pay their used enrgy (power and gas) and water extra. This was subtracted from the deposit. The husband gave us a compliment that the flat looks so clean and well designed. It is a lie that we did not take care of the apartment before she came. The opposit is true. After she left, e.g. we had to clean the oven 6 hours because it was pure coal. She did not clean. We had to trash the mattresses, and have to repair / clean 31 hours extra! She writes: We had to pay for garden furniture which we'd never even moved!! This could be but the cat used the brand new furniture as scatching post. I have no idea what she means by …treated us terribly. We response that we rent two flat since 10 years and got many reviews (although two not published guest books ) you can see in the internet. Always we get 5 stars! We are not interested in clients who destroy the appartment and don’t take care of our yewel Villa Marie – all others who like to live in peace and harmony at Villa Marie are most welcome!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Walter (the owner) a message.

If Walter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
