AVAAS B&B offers a set of four independent wooden chalet rooms, each with an attached modern bathroom.

Avaas B&B is where you have all the time in the world to enjoy nature & home cooked food. You won’t get to hear the television here, but you can occasionally hear a cow mooing in the village, or the faded sounds of temple bell, the ambience can slow the pace of your life. Wooden chalet rooms build in pinewood offers a lifetime experience to live in a wooden house. You can enjoy beautiful unobstructed views of Himalayas, complete with valley and dense forest from open decks, surrounded by orchards and fields on all sides. Open to sky dining areas, candle light dinners add to the charm of the place. A limited room service menu is also available for the in-between times.

We take great pride in the positive reputation that we have built over the years at AVAAS. It takes hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. We are quite surprised by your comments as we did everything you wanted during your stay with us including entertaining the request to change rooms in this Covid environment where everything needs to be sanitized. Since you have raised some concerns in this public space, we would like to clarify a few things, so that the readers of this review get a clearer understanding. Negotiation of rates We honored the same rates when you moved your booking from November to December (despite the fact that December rates are higher). We added complimentary breakfast in addition to the long list of services offered to our guests. So we don’t understand why you have any concerns with regards to rates. Hidden costs Communication issued for any rentals or paid services along with food menu with prices before check in, there are no hidden costs at all. Everything is mentioned clearly upfront including bonfire as paid experiance. Exorbitant pricing All pricing and costs are shared upfront prior to making a reservation. We regularly get many repeat clients, who also refer to their family and friends. This happens because of the unique experiential homestay that our property offers. During the pandemic, it is our top priority to ensure the safety and health of our guests and staff. A lot of additional efforts go in sanitizing and maintaining the property. There are costs associated with that and this is true across the hospitality industry. Small food portions We have never before received any complaint about our serving sizes being small. There is no mention of half portion on menu, we served you portions which you consumed and we expect you to pay for. Guest service We take pride in employing locals as our staff. This is a homestay, you cannot compare our staff with hotel staff. last but not least as per our cancellation policy which was shared at the time of booking you were expected to give us 24-hour notice which was not served we still did not charge you for the day you checked out, hope you understand the financial implications for blocking the rooms for you for next 5 days in these hard times....not a word said no question asked. However, the AVAAS team does everything to ensure that your stay with us amidst nature is delightful and comfortable. We wish u to be safe and healthy and request not to do this with anyone else.......regards

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send ARVIND (the owner) a message.

If ARVIND (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
