From the owner

A registered guide with the Jim Corbett National Park, I, Ramesh Suyal, have had 23 years of experience in guiding tourists, photographers and researchers in the forest. To make this a seamless experience, I have a homestay in Ramnagar, 3 km from the National Park.

With its own vegetable garden, all the meals in the house are made of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. As the natives of this place, my wife and I are experts of the local cuisines and provide traditional, homely meals, served with love.

The house has 8 rooms. Each room has two beds and can easily take 3 people each. The house is equipped with solar plates and cells which provide electricity for running hot water for the bathrooms. The bathrooms have western toilets as well as showers. The linens are changed daily and we provide towels and handwash liquid for use.

A terrace and swing offers the visitors a chance to engage in star-gazing with a cup of hot soup or have a picnic lunch on warm summer evening.

When the guests arrive, I or my wife welcome the guests personally, help them in parking the car, take them inside, and show them the rooms. We can suggest things to do, and my wife is available through the stay. I am available, if I am not taking you or other guests on Forest Safari, curated village walk or on jungle hike.

Why can't I call Jungle View (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jungle View (the owner) a message.

If Jungle View (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
