From the owner

Centrally located in “Randa bei Zermatt,” the Bergdohle holiday home is only five minutes away from the train station. The trip to Zermatt with the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway only takes 15 minutes!

There are two restaurants and a small grocery store in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. On the balcony, you can enjoy a view of the Little Matterhorn and Mount Breithorn. Free wireless Internet is available at the holiday home. Parking is also included in the price.

Located under the roof of the Bergdohle holiday home, the 2-room apartment is the ideal holiday apartment for families with kids. The 38-square-meter apartment can accomodate up to four people, with two beds in the loft sleep area above the living room. There is also a balcony with a table, chairs and sun umbrella. From the balcony, a spectacular view of the village of Randa and the surrounding mountain and forest scenery awaits you.

The apartment has a double room as well as two beds in the loft sleep area above the living room. The beds in the living room measure 190 cm x 90 cm and can also accommodate adults. The bathroom has a tub, toilet and hair dryer.

After a long day filled with impressions of the Zermatt-Matterhorn vacation region, what could be more relaxing than spending an evening with a good book, a glass of wine and in front of the fireplace? You can also use your free time to stay in touch with friends. We have free wireless Internet. The apartment also features a satellite TV with a DVD player and a radio with an MP3-CD player.

The little kitchen is also well equipped. In addition to a stove with three burners, refrigerator with freezer, electric kettle, toaster, fondue set and coffee maker, you will find everything you need for cooking. Afterwards, the dishwasher takes care of the dirty dishes!

If you need any special kitchen appliances such as a raclette oven, we would be happy to provide them. All apartments are non-smoker apartments. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony.

We are a family of four with two little boys called Lio and Nik, who love meeting new guests from all over the world. We live in the same house and we really appreciate the direct contact with our holiday visitors. Getting to know more about them and their cultures enriches our everyday lives and inspires us to visit new countries. We are very familiar with the local area and are happy to offer guests tips and advice on which places, sites and museums can be visited, so please feel free to ask! How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
