A beautiful mountain home (2BHK villa, private sleeping 4, extra 2) having breath taking views of snow capped Himalayan peaks of Trisul, Nandadevi & Panchchuli. Located in a holiday home neighborhood of Vimoksha Valley II, over a landscaped green hill near a village called Digoti, a peaceful personal retreat and a splendid escape near Ranikhet, at just 8 hours drive from Delhi, 2 hours drive from Nainital / Bhimtal. A 50 Km drive further takes you to hill stations like Kausani, Binsar, & Almora.

Property Layout:

Our mountain home is a duplex villa overlooking a gorgeous forest covered valley, and the mighty Himalayan peaks (peaks visible during September - January).

* The property has 2 big size bedrooms with attached bathrooms

* a cute Living room with a dining table

* a private kitchen

* The attic on the upper level is fitted with a futon bed for our two extra guests / kids

Amenities:

* Kitchen has most required utensils, appliances like microwave, refrigerator, gas stove, blender, etc, and necessary cutlery and crockery

* Wifi internet connectivity is available

* Power back up is through UPS system, which will power the lights and fans, however heavy electronics like kitchen equipment, geysers / water heaters, room heaters, electric iron, and hair dryers cannot be used on power back up in case of a power outage

* Fresh clean Linen is provided at every check in. Linen / Towel change is provided every 4th day (if booking is longer than a week)

* Housekeeping is provided daily between 11 AM - 3 PM

* Utensil Cleaning is provided twice daily between 10-11 AM and 3-4 PM

Dinning options are available at the "Woodsvilla Residency" & "Richamond Hills Resort" located 1.5 KM away, "Woodsvilla Resort" & "Vimoksha Resort", located 2 KM away, "The Cafe" located 3 KM away, and "ITC Welcome Heritage - Windsor Lodge" located 7 KM away. Home delivery of Pizzas, noodles and Momo's is also available (please ask our care taker for the menu's kept at the property)

A local Cook can be arranged at an extra cost of Rs. 1000 per day (subject to availability). Provisions / Groceries have to be provided by the guests.

Please note - This is a private home, and not a hotel. Please do not expect hotel kind of services at the property. We focus on cleanliness, good quality well maintained linen, and homely comfort for our guests.

Our property is located at Vimoksha Valley II, which is on a village road connecting the villages of Majkhali and Digoti, approx 2 KM from the main highway. The village roads are narrow (one way) roads, partly metaled, partly brick mortared, having sharp hair pin bends. The roads are in perfect shape and all cars can easily go on them, and in a way the drive up to the cottage is fun and a bit adventurous. The car goes upto our villa plot, however, the entry to the villa is located about 20 steps down from the parking area, which have to be walked down.

Our property is managed by Hostie - an operations management company for boutique travel experiences in India. Our Kumaon zone supervisor - Prem will be available to coordinate with the guests for a comfortable stay. Our care taker stays at a nearby village called "Digoti" and comes to the property between 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. everyday to ensure our guest's have a comfortable and memorable stay. Our caretaker cannot cook for our guests, and a cook has to be arranged from outside. Our team will be available daily to take care of our guests, and we endeavor to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.

Cleanliness is a major house rule. One time cleaning fee of 1500 is extra & payable at checkin. Housekeeping is available daily between as per the specified timing. Smoking is permitted in open areas. Our property has artifacts and accessories which mean a lot to us. Please handle them with care. Any damage will have to be settled separately. We require Government ID's of all guests / visitors to be provided before check in / visit. Activities not permitted under law, are not acceptable.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Akshay (the owner) a message.

If Akshay (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
