A great big thank you to all our guests who gave us brilliant reviews and gained us a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence once again.

Completely refurbished for 2020 season.

The Kirkstone is a quality holiday home, constructed by Cosolt to the highest standard, placed new on our own private site in 2002 it has had minimal usage hence its superb condition. Intended for all year occupation, its a home from home in all seasons, a twitchers paradise, surrounded by all types of wildlife and farm animals.

Close to the ever popular tourist destination of Reeth and the historic town of Richmond, 10 minutes from a mountain bike centre and walks aplenty from you own doorstep. This is also the perfect starting point from which to tour the dales, with a fabulously scenic circular route through Swaledale and Wensleydale via the Buttertubs pass, relax and enjoy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Margaret (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
