Hypoallergenic beds & mattresses made of organic rubberized coconut fibre, cotton, eucalyptus leaves & seaweed provide a relaxing sleep while blue & white tones paint the iconic Greek dream setting.

The village is situated in the midst of olive groves with an endless view to the sea, full of Greek colors, narrow cobbled streets and never-ending bougainvillea plants, Venetian buildings and the blazons of the Kallergi family, evidence of a monumental era. In the best part of the village, Villa Athena await holidaymakers, offering a combination of the traditional Cretan hospitality with modern luxury and comfort.

Villa A. Kallergi is designed in simple, austere lines and subtle luxury in harmony with the natural landscape and the olive groves surrounding the village. The interior layout of the living spaces ensures full isolation of each space so that guests can enjoy their holidays in true relaxation and regeneration, whilst at the same time they feel like home.

The villa is located next to the village square where there is a spacious parking area. In that square, one can also see parts of an old olive press with its large millstones.

" The villa has 4 spacious, outdoor common areas at 4 different levels. At level 1, the thick vegetation offers great relaxation in the terrace and the swimming pool.

At level 2, there is another terrace with a large white table while indoors, there is the villa's lounge and a concert piano. Right next, there is the main kitchen fully equipped.

On the 1st floor there is a veranda with olive trees under the shadow of a 200-year old vine wrapped around a trellis. The entrances for the Pershephone, Dimitra and Elia suites are found in this veranda.

On level 4, in a terrace surrounded with thick vegetation and offering a clear view to the olive groves and the sea, guests can sunbathe. At a slightly higher level, there is a dining room with a trellis.

The 6 suites: the Pluto suite: Double bed, bathroom with a shower & toilet. Poseidon Suite: double bed, bathroom with bathtub & toilet.

Elia suite: two-levels (maisonette) suite. Double bed, lounge & dining room. Range, fridge, bathroom with bathtub & toilet.

Athena suite : two single beds, electric range, fridge, bathroom with a shower & toilet.

Persephone suite: double bed, bathroom with bathtub & toilet, range & fridge.

The two villas are located actually next to each other which were formerly 5 medieval houses of the village of Loutra. They have great history and beautiful features.The villas are completely separate but we do have guests that rent both of them if they are large groups of people for family holidays/ wedding events or corporate company.One member of the Kallergi family will greet you upon arrival and will ensure a smooth check in process for your convenience. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dimitrios (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
