Villa Dafni is a wonderful Villa, built with care and taste, where stone walls and wooden furniture take you back to the village way of life of Crete, while at the same time it provides all contemporary amenities that ensure you’ll have a comfortable and pleasant stay! Located at the small town of Perama Villa Dafni is within walking distance from a variety of shops & restaurants, which makes your every day needs very simple to fulfil! The lively city of Rethymno, as well as to most sightseeing spots and the highway leading to the amazing southern beaches and Heraklion town are also easily accessible, making Villa Dafni a great base for your holiday!

Layout

The Villa consists of 3 independent, split-level houses and its size and structure can accommodate up to 9 adults and 3 children and make it ideal for three couples, big families and groups of friends, as it offers privacy and seclusion when desired! The villa is totally private and all its outdoor areas are entirely at your disposal, to make the most of your stay!

Exterior

At the same time, all guests may enjoy the amazing private swimming pool 1.45 meters deep with a special children’s compartment 0.5 meters deep and the BBQ facilities and shaded outdoor dining area with stone benches, right next to it! The pool area and terrace is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and clay pots with beautiful flowers and it also offers a wonderful view of the village and the surrounding area. You may spend your day by the pool, relaxing or sunbathing and then prepare and have your dinner al fresco, enjoying the starry sky and cool summer breeze! All three apartments have access to the stone paved pool terrace by descending a few steps. Additionally, an extra outside siting area exist in the corridor above the pool!

Interior

Each one of the houses features, on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area with a nice round table where you can have your homemade cooked meals along with your family. Living rooms are slightly different as one of them has a sofa, the other one has two sofas and the last one has two armchairs, but they all have a wonderful stone built fireplace where you can sit and enjoy the nice interior of the house and the blending of wood and stone that are combined in a way that creates a charming symbiosis and define its personality. Additionally, all of the houses have a bathroom with a wooden ceiling, two of them featuring a shower, while the last one has a magnificent round-shaped bathtub which you can fill if you wish and take a long and relaxing bath. Climbing to a lovely wooden stairs guests can find the house’s open space double bedroom (with no door) with a sitting area consisting of an armchair and a small table, which also has its own balcony with patio furniture, where you can sit and drink your coffee while enjoying the surrounding area view and countryside!

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
