Spectacular villa with unique charm and in an environment of great beauty. The house is situated on top of a hill, in a quiet area called the Spanish Switzerland, overlooking beautiful mountains and bucolic valleys under which the singular village of Robledo de Chavela hides. All rooms have great charm, are cozy and have wonderful views across its many windows or windows. On the ground floor there are two adjoining rooms, one of 70m2 and another of 45m2. The main is very spacious, with comfortable sofas and TV. The second, fully glazed with spectacular 180 degree views, Norway has a fireplace, sofas and dining table chester. The elegant and rustic kitchen with marble countertops and center island, open to the main hall for all guests to enjoy unique moments together. A nice little toilet, is also on this floor. In the second level we access four bedrooms and two bathrooms, all with wooden floors and wooden beams that give all rooms of great charm and warmth. Finally, on the third floor, we find an impressive lofted suite of 70 m2 with large windows and wooden ceilings. There is also a full bathroom. Housing over 300 m2, has 6 separate rooms each with capacity for two people: 5 bedrooms and spacious living room with a sofa bed. Additionally, we have several extra beds for guests to sit back and distributed to your liking. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, microwave, iron, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, iron, necessary utensils, etc. The plot of 2,000 m2 is flat and comfortable, spacious and spectacular mountain views. It has many areas to enjoy: a fresh and pleasant porch; covered barbecue with sink, refrigerator and dishwasher; chillout space; children's play area. Robledo de Chavela is a municipality of Madrid which preserves the taste of traditional village but with all services (supermarkets, cinemas, shops, restaurants, medical center, train station). It is located in an area of ​​natural beauty between the Sierra de Guadarrama and the Sierra de Gredos, just 15 km from San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Heritage). Its privileged location makes it the ideal starting point to visit Madrid, Segovia, Avila and Toledo, as it is right in the center of all of them within walking distance of each. It is visited mainly by their nature, with nooks and paths ideal both to enjoy a quiet day in the field to make long excursions on foot, bicycle or horse. Birding (imperial eagles, hawks, black vultures ...) is another highly appreciated activity for being classified as ZEPA (Zone of Special Protection of Birds). Other attractions are the Gothic church of the XV century, with its altarpiece and paintings of dragons unheard or NASA space station, unique in Europe, which can be accessed.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ruth (the owner) a message.

If Ruth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
