The Salty Martini is a cozy coastal cottage in Rockport, Texas. Rockport is also known as " the charm of the Texas Coast." Rockport is a historically renowned fishing and water recreation community that has emerged as an eclectic scene marked by arts and year round festivals. Rockport has many attractions to boast about- world class birding, the first Blue Wave Beach in Texas, and the Bay Education Center. . . and that's just the beginning!

If you are looking for a springboard to explore other areas on the central Texas Coast, our location is perfect to start out for a day at the Aransas Wildlife Refuge, Port Aransas and Padre Island National Seashore. Regardless of your heart's desire, whether it is to escape to the outdoors or retreat to a comfortable getaway, the Salty Martini beckons you to relax and enjoy yourself.

The Salty Martini are located across from the Connie Hagar Bird Sanctuary, a 6.25 acre bird retreat. Aransas Bay, a short walk away, is the perfect place for a morning or evening stroll; and Cove Harbor Marina is just 2 minutes away. The nearby Heritage District offers art galleries, shopping and dining. The Salty Martini sleeps up to four and is fully furnished to meet your needs. The amenities include Central A/C, Free Wi-Fi, BluRay, outdoor gas grill, wood BBQ pit, washer and dryer. We feature deck life as a prominent part of your stay at the Salty. Thus, you can enjoy your favorite music with our outdoor stereo speaker system. Our goal is to provide an intimate retreat that awaits you after a day in the sun chasing fishtails or looking for that elusive, shy bird on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Leah (the owner) a message.

If Leah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
