From the owner

There are 5 large bedrooms on the self contained upper apartment which is accessed from the road or via the garage. There is an additional self contained 3 double bedroomed apartment on the lower floor which is rented separately as Les Tiers Deux. This can either be rented separately or because of its adjacent nature would suit two or three families wanting to holiday together.

This is an excellent family escape to one of the most picturesque villages in France. Perfect for walking swimming, Kayaking and other outdoor sports. The village has all the basic shops needed and the area is suitable for exploring the Haut Languedoc. The river is only 1 minutes walk from the property and there are some stunning areas to swim and dive within short distance. There is a river beach opposite the property which is very safe for young children. For those wanting more excitement there is the opportunity to kayak through some rapids and enjoy the gorgeous scenery, making time for picnics on the way! Alternatively you can head to a number of lovely sandy beaches within an hour of the village.

There is a seperate garden for exclusive use of the upper apartment which is opposite the old mill and has lovely river views. This is a perfect venue for evening BBQ's or just soaking up the sun which is claimed to be present 300 days of the year!

The apartment is on two levels with three bedrooms and a family bathroom on the mezzanine and two bedrooms with en suites on the main level. The apartment has grand proportions and is approximately 150 square metres. The main floor area has a large lounge,dining room,hallway and well equipped kitchen. The outlook from the various windows and balcony's is breathtaking and which pictures don't do it justice.

Although the upper property can be accessed with a wheelchair and the door way to the front bedroom is slightly wider than normal. The apartment has limited wheelchair accessibility as there are steps from the hallway to the kitchen and from the lounge to the dining room.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nigel (the owner) a message.

If Nigel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
