«Milio’s House» is a stonebuilt home that dates back to the 17th century. It is a characteristic architectural example of a Cretan house and it is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Roustika in Rethymno inland.

The house makes a perfect holiday home with two beautiful yards for sweet summer evenings and a private pool for refreshing moments. Meanwhile it consists of a very good base to explore the surrounding areas as it is located near some of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, some pretty picturesque mountainside villages, as well as the beautiful city of Rethymnon.

«Milio’s House» is a unique destination for those seeking to experience Crete in an authentic way and feel the incomparable hospitality of the locals that live in the village.

«Milio’s House» has a hosting capacity of 4 people, it is open 3 months every year and guaranties the privacy and tranquillity of your stay in the heart of the traditional village called Roustika, situated in the Prefecture of Rethymno in Crete.

It is a ground floor building made of stone, with an arched tile roof and a double-spaced mezzanine.

On the ground floor, the living room hosts two open single-bed spaces, the kitchen with its large wood kiln and its fully equipped auxiliary areas with wooden and marble casings.

The master double-bed room in the mezzanine is isolated by a latticed wood panel.

On the north and south-west sides, two courtyards with wooden pergolas and long gardens planted with fruit-bearing trees lend themselves to a direct contact with nature, whereas the small round cistern in the south-western courtyard offers some cool during the summer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Emmy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
