The Hayloft forms part of a courtyard of traditional farm buildings that are set in the confines of an 18c farmhouse that has been sympathetically converted to provide two lovely holiday cottages with a contemporary feel. Both holiday cottages have airy rooms with open beams and en-suite facilities. The Hayloft provides generous accommodation for 2, and will sleep up to 4 close friends. Downstairs there is a large sitting room with french windows leading to a patio area. The sitting room has a high beamed ceiling, sofa bed which can sleep and additional two people, and log burner. There is also a large kitchen and dining area with seperate wc. Stairs lead up from the sitting room to a gallery and the old hayloft, which has been converted into a large double room with King size bed and en-suite bathroom. Upper foxhangers farm is located on the southern edge of the village of Rowde at the foot of the historic Caen Hill flight of locks and the accommodation has south facing views across the farm's dew pond and surrounding meadows. Perfect for a relaxing visit to the country side or to explore the surrounding area. The canal is an integral part of the farm and the brightly coloured narrowboats pass by regularly on their way up and down the flight of locks. Just the place to relax and watch the moorhens, ducks and occasional swan fly in from the nearby Kennett and Avon Canal.
