SettleDown Villa2 is a recently renovated, 3 bedrooms, stairs enclosure with Private Plunge Pool (not a hot tub).

SettleDown has three bedrooms each with its own ensuites. It is a sweet spot gem that has spectacular views of the mountain on one side and the ocean on the other. There’s a gentle breeze with a large patio set in a tropical garden; the front lawn was used in the filming of the 2016 Season 20 finale of the Bachelor with Ben Higgins at Chukka Cove Polo Club!

Conveniently located between the resort towns of Ocho Rios and Runaway Bay off Jamaica's North Coast highway, and tucked away at Chukka Cove Polo Club, SettleDown villa provides unique access to a truly Jamaican experience.

SettleDown villa sits in a lovely groomed area shared with only five other villas. Here in rural Jamaica, you may wake up to the sound of roosters, sometimes hear the neighboring dogs barking before bedtime; can listen to the crickets and frogs songs at night. So immerse yourself in the real Jamaica and soak your cares away. A safe place to vacation without being locked in a compound like the mega All Inclusive Hotels!

This private gem has a master, second and third bedroom all with full en-suite bathrooms on the upper level. The ground floor has a large open veranda leading to the patio, plunge pool. The kitchen, pantry, powder room and laundry are also on this floor. The covered patio is the perfect spot to have your first cup of blue mountain coffee while watching the sun rise or relaxing in the private plunge pool. Dinner is served in its cozy dining area which seats 6 people.

The cliffs at Chukka Cove are dramatic and extensive, great for exploring or simply listening to the sound of the waves crashing ashore. On calm days, a ladder takes you into the cool clear waters. On property is a small sandy cove, safe and perfect for young children to swim and play. On days when the sea swells up and you seek calmer waters, a two minute walk east along the edge of the polo field takes you to the spectacular Chukka Cove, a sheltered bay where the waters are always calm and cliff jumping, swimming and snorkeling are a must.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Marc (the owner) a message.

If Marc (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
