Absolute beachfront. The beach house is at the gateway to New Zealand's famous Bay of Islands. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep 2-13 guests.

Panoramic beach and bay views with an endless procession of passing boats and romantic sunsets. Private access to a sandy all tide swimming beach with no road or dunes to cross. 4 Kayaks and a dinghy or swim to the diving pontoon in front. Located on Tapeka Point beach - just two minutes from historic Russell village with island boat trips, attractions, shops, vineyards, restaurants and nearby world class golf.

The outdoor living and entertaining area is superb with a large furnished deck, loungers and a BBQ grill. A covered verandah surrounds the house with direct access from bedrooms and living area - all just a few steps from the secluded beach. All linens and towels supplied ready to walk in and enjoy.

The inside living area has high ceilings, comfy leather sofas and a nautical theme with a Cape Cod feel. Panoramic beach and sea views extend through floor level sliding glass doors. Lots of books, magazines, board games and DVD library. Air conditioned for year round comfort.

Entertainment includes an Onkyo-Bose home theatre, TV, Sky Satellite TV channels, DVD player, AppleTV, media streaming and outdoor deck speakers. Free high speed fibre WiFi covers the property.

Fully equipped granite kitchen includes an ice maker, Nespresso machine, dual dish drawer dishwashers, oven, gas hobs, microwave, food processor, blender, toaster, serving dishes etc. Laundry with washer and dryer plus an outdoor line.

The mature grounds have ample off street parking and room for children to play. Tapeka has the closest boat ramp to the Bay and renowned fishing location. Filleting station for the days catch, overflow / drinks fridge and bait freezer. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the beach house, watercraft and all facilities.

Bedrooms - 1) Master on a secluded wing of the house with a king size bed, heated ensuite bathroom, TV, safe and sea views. 2) Queen and single with sea views. 3) Queen and king single bed with garden views. 4) Family bedroom / games room. King bed and three king singles. It also has AC, refrigerator, TV, DVD and BT sound system. Bedrooms have ceiling fans, heating and alarm clocks. Two portable cots, high chair, bath, swing and stroller for infants.

Before you believe this reviewer please check our past reviews. This booking was for the premium 2021 Xmas week. When builders on a neighbouring property advised of a Covid related building delay this guest was immediately offered a full refund. She refused. She was also advised the previous view would be partly restricted but still insisted on staying. Some noise experienced during the first 2 nights of the stay were week day business hours. No further work continued for the remaining 5 nights. A full refund offered for these two nights was also refused. 60% of the best beach and sea views remain as shown in the updated images. Direct beach access from the property still exists. Subsequent guests and families who have booked through other sites have rated it 5 stars. It is disappointing that this guest who did not book through TripAdvisor chose to be so negative. Be assured if you book this beach house expectations will be exceeded

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Clive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
