Palheiros do castelo has set as a goal to restore old rustic houses with profound respect for the original and the surroundings, ensuring at the same time all the comodoties of modern days.
Although we wish that you feel as confortable as possible in the cottages, we want you to be aware that the richeness of our project lies also in the region and its people. You should not miss a visit to Sabugal's Castle and historical center, the river beach, the surrounding Historical Villages, the Natural Parks of Serra da Estrela and Serra da Malcata. There are also several excellent regional gourmet specialties for you to taste and extraordinary artesans always eager to share their work with visitors.
