From the owner

Our rustic, self-catering cottage sleeps 4+ persons. It is the larger of 2 cottages in the grounds of a renovated farmhouse set in a tranquil location. Close to Mont St Michel, St Malo, Cancale, Dinan, Dinard Airport and beautiful beaches.

The self-catering open plan kitchen/diner/living area is situated on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, assorted cutlery, glasses, cups, plates and bowls, etc. The double bedroom, also on the ground floor, sleeps two people comfortably. The living area consists of a double sofa bed, 2 easy chairs, a coffee table and a 32" flat screen TV (not shown in photo), (English channels only) and a DVD player. The sofa bed can accommodate two small persons. The shower room, which is also on the ground floor, contains a shower, WC and wash basin. Two single beds are situated on the upper partially enclosed bedroom on the mezzanine floor (which are suitable for children or adults). The surroundings consist of a large gravel courtyard, large enclosed area, fields and lawn area with pond.

On arrival, we provide a welcome pack consisting of croissants, butter, milk, jam and a bottle of Breton cider. We also provide teabags, coffee, salt and pepper. A freshly made bed and fully equipped shower room with clean towels, soap, shampoo, etc., are also provided inclusive of the price. A hairdryer is also available upon request at no extra charge.

Our guests have access to the surrounding land and garden areas with private outside tables, chairs, loungers, barbecue and a splash pool is set up during the spring/summer months.

My husband and I are resident in the renovated farmhouse and we are available at all times should you require any assistance. We are discreet and only interact with guests at their discretion.

The property is set in rural countryside. Ideal if you are looking for tranquility but within a short drive to shops, recreational activities, tourist destinations and sandy beaches.

There is no public transport near the property and reliance on your own motor vehicle is necessary. However, ample parking spaces are provided at the property inclusive of the charge. My husband, Steve, is able to provide a taxi service to and from the St Malo Channel Port and Dinard Airport at a reasonable cost.

We are very well-equipped for children of all ages and are able to provide a cot, crib, high chair, booster chair, baby bath, stair gate, two childrens car seats and a booster seat. Laundry facilities are available at the nearest supermarket providing 24-hour outside laundry and drying facilities.

ADSL connection and WiFi are available within the gite itself (WiFi seems to work better upstairs) and also freely accessible outside and around the property in certain locations.

This property is non-smoking. However, there are undercover areas outside for winter smokers. Pets are not allowed. We ask that the property, particularly the kitchen and bathroom, are left in a clean condition before you check out.
