La Chatouillette is ideal for couples, friends and families, anglers, nature lovers, bird watching, cyclists, walkers and stargazers. The Coach House Gite and Lake is available for weekly bookings Saturday-to-Saturday or longer stays. If you need alternative days or shorter breaks, please email us with your request. Minimum stay three nights.

The detached Coach House sleeps up to 4 people. There’s parking for two cars.

It has its own private stairs entrance that leads to a balcony with table and chairs. Rear view overlooks the lake, stream, gardens, and front view of surrounding fields and forest. Perfect, for morning sunshine and breakfast or evening sunset and sundowners. From the balcony French doors lead into a bright, spacious, open plan room with three functional spaces, the lounge, dinning and a kitchen area.

The fully fitted kitchen is practical, with storage cupboards and a work area facing the dining area. There is a full size electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and slow cooker, utensils crockery, cutlery and glasses.

Everything you might need for your self-catering holiday.

Tea towels and Eco- friendly cleaning products are provided for the kitchen and bathroom.

In the lounge there are two leather sofas, fireplace. Flat screen TV.

Bookcase holds a selection of novels. There is a selection of Adult/Children’s games.

WI-Fi is available. Mobile reception limited.

Welcome folder with tourist information, local information, cycling and walking maps.

There are 2 large bedrooms.

The double with a Queen bed, rustic oak beams, a Juliet balcony with views over looking the front gardens, forest and fields.

The twin room has 2 single beds. It has a velux window and rustic oak beams. Both rooms have ample storage space, mirrors, side tables and lamps. There is an optional foldout day bed for a small child under 8yrs. Please ask for further details when booking.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, and-basin, mirror, glass shelves for your toiletries and towel rails. The toilet is separate.

All bed linen and towels bathroom mats are provided.

The games room is equipped with pool table, bar football, darts and bats/balls. Outdoor table-tennis table

There is plenty of storage space for fishing tackle/bait and for your bikes.

A few steps away from the lakes edge are a screened seating area with a garden table and chairs and BBQ.

The established private Carp Lake is for the exclusive use of our guests and can accommodate a maximum of 4 anglers with 2 rods each.

There are numbered grassed swims around the lake provide enough room for bivvies and tackle.

The lake is stocked with Carp averaging up to 20lbs and over, other fish in the lake are Perch, Roach and Tench and a resident Catfish weighing approx 55lbs,-spectacular landing 2021

You may just want to stay put to enjoy the rural stillness to unwind. Listen to the birdsong and the Cuckoo, the bubbling river, sit fishing or take a strolling through the gardens. It's Ideal for nature observing, watching the swallows dipping on the lake for a drink and the flash of blue as the kingfishers fly by.

If you are patient you may see wild boar and deer by the river.

    If Josephine and Allan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
