This layout proves ideal for families sharing, since the central salon and kitchen areas lead out to separate wings where the bedrooms are located. This creates independence whilst holidaying together.

The double height ceilings ensure that the property remains cool despite the high outside temperatures and almost guaranteed summer sun.

The large 11x5 metre heated pool is a rectangular configuration with roman steps. It has a shallow end which is ideal for small children. A electronic pool cover ensures the pool is safe when not in use. The latest generation pool heat pump keeps the water temperature warm, even first thing in the morning or after an occasional cloudy day. The pool has underwater lighting so that the party can continue well into the night! The pool has a tiled surround and ample deck chairs for sun worshippers. Near the main pool entrance, there is a large iron framed, covered canopy area, with enough space to sit poolside and read, chat or snooze. An outdoor solar powered shower completes a wonderful holiday space.

The property boasts its own private park, occupying 3,400 m2 and allowing for a gentle stroll after lunch, with several rest points along the way. Tree lights can be switched on at night to create a magical environment under a star filled sky.

To the front of the property, there are tree covered areas boasting wonderful children's activities such as a wooden activity centre, swings, slides, wooden tree house and a large trampoline.

Within a few metres of the property, you are immersed in the Cevennes' Garrigue, with its powerful scents of thyme, lavender, sage and rosemary. Here you are might only ever cross the occasional goat herdsman or farmer and because of this Villa's privileged high position, you'll have arresting panoramas and views for tens of kilometres.

The 11th Century village of Saint Martin de Londres is within a 10 minute walk or a short car ride and offers a variety of local produce from its small supermarket, restaurants, bars, clothing and gift shops. There is an award winning Boulangerie with a mouth-watering daily collection of patisseries. However, don't be surprise that once you are installed in the Mas de Bouis you find it hard to leave.

The Occitanie region

The department of Hérault is possibly the most dynamic in Languedoc Roussillon. With Montpellier as its capital (said to be Europes fastest-growing city), and the huge seaside resorts of Sete and Grande Motte bringing in millions of tourists every summer, the Hérault department is bustling and growing like never before.

But despite all the build-up commotion along the coast, the interior of Hérault in Languedoc is as beautiful and unspoiled as it has always been. The Hérault countryside is glorious, as you drive away from the coast and into the foothills of the Cevennes, you get lost in an ocean of vines, reaching as far as the eye can see.

Some of the villages of Hérault, Languedoc are incredibly pretty. Roquebrun is lovely

Saint-Martin-de-Londres

Saint Martin de Londres - The Village and Area:

Saint Martin de Londres is a beautiful, listed medieval village located about 20 kilometres north of Montpellier, in the heart of the Garrigue and at the foothills of the Cevennes, a national park extending over 100 miles. The locals refer to this stunning natural area as 'Les Poumons' (the lungs) of Montpellier because of the quality of the air, total lack of noise or light pollution.

Saint Martin de Londres is a hidden gem, located in the shadow of the imposing Pic Saint Loup and a stones throw from the stunning Gorges de l'Hérault and within 20 minutes by car of Montpellier and its coastline. It is the ideal summer vacation location since it is so accessible to the major cities and beaches nearby whilst offering such unspoilt rural delight.

Saint Martin de Londres has a remarkable heritage and a gentle way of life, away from mass tourism with a small and friendly local population where you will find bars, restaurants, a small supermarket, gorgeous bread and patisseries and a fabulous local market (Sunday and Thursday night).

In the 11th century, the monks of the Abbey of Saint Guilhem built a church dedicated to Saint Martin. Quickly, houses and walls were erected. Saint Martin de Londres was born. People visit especially to view these incredibly beautiful buildings and surrounds which make you feel as if you were back in the middle ages!

Saint Martin de Londres saw very early populations as can be seen by the nearby ( 5 Km) ruins of Cambous - probably the oldest village in France. These remains date from the Shumen or Copper age,-2800 to-2400 and are an unforgettable walk.

Saint Martin de Londres is also the location of choice for gliding enthusiasts. The gliders flying school can fly over the grand surroundings of the Pic Saint Loup. Pronounced relief and different winds, all types of flight are permitted: wave, thermal, dynamic... The establishment is open all year, every day.

Other activities include stunning mountain biking locations, canoing along the Herault river or rambling across many miles of gorgeous, unspoilt and fragrant Cevennes. All of this right on your doorstep.
